The Lamborghini Urus, the second-ever SUV of the renowned Italian supercar manufacturer, has accomplished a significant landmark in the production of 10,000 vehicles after two years of its launch to the market.
The Urus, Lamborghini’s Super SUV, has led greatly to the rise in Automobili Lamborghini sales since it was first announced in December 2017: 4,962 vehicles were sold to customers in 2019, the first full year that the Urus was present on the market.
The Super SUV in our featured image has the chassis number 10,000 and is destined for Russia. It is in the new Nero Noctis Matt (black) color, combined with the carbon fiber package and two-tone Ad Personam interiors in black and orange, complemented by carbon fiber components.
In June 2020, a new colour collection was presented for the Super SUV to enable customers to express their personalities more, the optional extra for Model Year 2021 Urus Pearl Capsule.
With a two-tone exterior look, it offers ultra-bright pearlescent shades with four-layer paint, in line with Lamborghini color tradition – Giallo Inti (yellow), Arancio Borealis (orange), and Verde Mantis (green), combined with a glossy black roof, rear diffuser, spoiler lip, and other details.
Prior to the arrival of the SUV, the company increased the facility from 80,000 to 160,000 square meters in 2017 and dedicated the whole assembly line, Manifattura Lamborghini, to the Urus.
It is based on the Factory 4.0 model, which incorporates new production technologies to support workers throughout the assembly operations.
A paint shop devoted solely to the Urus launched in 2019. Like the production line, the new paint shop is distinguished by the use and further evolution of the Factory 4.0 model, which integrates new technologies including AI.
