Fitbit Versa – Beauty With Brain

While most of the smartwatches brands offer a circular dial, the Fitbit Versa stands out by offering square design. It has a comfortable fit on your wrist, but more importantly, it is far lighter than anticipated. It’s good for everyday usage, even while sleeping it can track your sleep activity. Even under the bright outdoor conditions, it was convenient to read from the screen, due to its smart auto-brightness adjustments. Colours are punchy and vibrant, along with sharp display with a 300×300 pixel resolution across its 1.34-inch screen. Along with the physical button, it has a touchscreen display which can be navigated by swiping. The touchscreen takes time to respond, making the overall usage slow. Versa is waterproof, so you even go swimming with it without worrying.

The Fitbit Versa supports basic activity tracking found on other Fitbit products, like the ability to recognize certain workout and monitor the time you spent on. It also provides female watch owners with a way to log information about their menstrual cycles. The Versa uses PurePulse technology to provide current and resting heart rate. Talking about battery life, the Versa is capable of running for minimum four days with limited usage. It also comes with a storage functionality, so you can store up to 2.5GB of songs. There are wide varieties of watch faces within the Fitbit app, but we were expecting more creative and unique options. The Versa runs on the latest Fitbit 2.1 operating system out of the box. Occasionally, you’ll feel the UI slows down and the basic navigation lags, which can be frustrating sometimes.

The Fitbit Versa offers strong features for a fitness smartwatch. The company once again proved that it has mastered in creating fitness devices. With accurate fitness tracking, well-built design, the device is also comfortable to wear on a regular basis. Despite the attractive design, the UI response time is slow.
