Noise is one of the newest entrants in the tech industry and is making some noise with its budget-friendly gadgets. The company is offering a host of products like smart wearables, action cameras, mobile accessories and more. Well, what we have for review here is the “Colorfit pro” a smartwatch that brings in features like heart rate monitoring, steps tracking, SP02 monitoring and more. The “Colorfit Pro” is priced at 2,499, so let’s quickly dive in to find out if it is worthy enough to be your next smartwatch.
Build and Design
The Colorfit Pro is built out of an alloy of zinc and magnesium which doesn’t feel cheap in hands. The square display on this device is reminiscent of the Apple watch. It comes with a 1.22 inch LCD panel but sadly the panel is not completely touch-screen. At 59gms it is not too heavy and will lie around your wrist just fine. The silicone wrist straps are detachable and can be changed according to your liking. The rear of the watch houses the heart rate sensor and the electrodes for the charger. Apart from this, there are no buttons around. The fact that the watch is IP68 rated you can even take it swimming or even for a bath.
The connectivity on the Colorfit pro is completely dependant on the app called “da fit”, which lets you connect to the smartwatch over Bluetooth. Connecting your device to the smartwatch will not be much of a pain. Once, your smartphone gets connected you will be able to access all the data from the smartwatch. Which includes steps counts, heart rate, SP02 measurement. Moving further the app also allows you to edit watch face but this is the only customisability option that you get. Besides, this you can also set alarms and notification alert for apps.
The Colorfit Pro is a smartwatch that brings additional features for fitness tracking. It allows you to read notifications from your device, track your heart rate, steps. Also, it can be used as a remote for capturing pictures and controlling music playback on your device.
During our short period of testing the steps, Heart rate, SP02 tracker seemed to work fine. Although nothing can be said about its accuracy. The User Interface is not something that can be applauded and it took me quite some time to get used to it. There’s a small circular area below the screen that lets you navigate through the UI, touch response of which is just fine. But the lack of swipe gesture makes it difficult to navigate through the menus and sub-menus. The watch has support for a variety of physical activities such as walking, running, cycling, skipping, and sports such as badminton, soccer, skipping, and swimming.
Finally, the Colorfit Pro sports a 150mAh battery that has enough juice to run it for three days, as the company claims. Even during our testing the battery just drained a few percents in a day of usage.
The Colorfit Pro is a feature-packed smartwatch that brings in a host of features. You get a big LCD screen, IP68 rating, great battery life at a price of 2,499. One area where it falls short is the User Interface but if you can live with it. This smartwatch can be a decent option for you.
