The Tech That Makes the 2024 IPL Possible

After the exciting start to the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) on 22 March 2024, we thought it would be timely to discuss the IPL’s technology that makes the experience more enjoyable. The IPL is a huge event worldwide, with a devoted crowd and heftier new coverage. Their reliability is through their technology usage in the most appropriate ways to provide accurate and thorough information. We have compiled a list of their tech and their purpose to give you, the reader, more insight into the thrilling event.

Hawk-Eye Operators – Smart Replay

IPL has developed its technology to its maximum potential over its 16 years of operation. In 2024, they adopted one of the most effective systems – The Smart Replay System by Hawk-Eye cameras. This system directly assists the umpires in making precise decisions. This includes two cameras that assist the TV umpire directly and eight cameras recording footage all around the field. These different angles provide the best quality images to the umpire.

BuggyQam

The Buggy Camera is a high-quality camera system that allows high and low-speed video recordings at a low speed. BuggyQam is more specifically a 5-axis-stabilized camera with smooth movement on the ground. It also eliminates jitter, even at maximum zoom.

Dolby Atmos Sound System

In 2023, Star Sports Network partnered with Dolby to bring the Dolby ATMOS sound system to every fan watching. Considering that not everyone worldwide can attend a physical match at the stadium, they decided to make the IPL more immersive with the Dolby ATMOS (5.1.4). They have optimised the sound to simulate a stadium brought right to your couch.

Snickometer

For accurate conclusions, the Snickometer is a device attached to the wicket that catches sound frequencies made by the bat hitting the ball or a part of the cricketer’s body. This does filter out any other distracting sounds–cheering audiences, wind, or the batsman’s foot movement, stuff that is unnecessary to a point scored in cricket. It shows a slow-motion, play-by-play replay that then goes through an oscilloscope (electronic test equipment) to display any spikes in frequency. This spike would only be a result of the bat hitting the ball.

Spidercam

Spidercam is a cable-suspended camera system that moves both horizontally and vertically. The camera operates with four motorised winches over the area and is positioned on each corner. It is also commonly known as the Flying Fox camera.

Speed Gun

The speed of the ball is calculated with the Speed Gun. The Speed Gun is essentially a radar gun that works on the principle of the Doppler Effect, also known as the Doppler Shift. The Doppler Effect, in simple words, is a change in frequency relative to the source of a wave and its observer. The Speed Gun is propped near the sight screen on a high pillar. Radio waves are transmitted to any moving object but mostly to the ball to calculate its speed.

360° Cameras

Ever wonder how you get every angle of a run, even an amazing cover drive by Virat Kohli? 360° Cameras make those difficult to spot possible. This expensive but useful camera setup is made up of 100 cameras all over the stadium. So, while it costs a fortune and more, it is worth the spectacle.

Hot Spot Technology

Now here’s a more controversial product. While Hot Spot Technology is efficient and trustworthy, there have been alleged loopholes that players adopt to go undetected. The way Hot Spot works is it identifies heat signals produced by a hit and determines if the player is out. However, some players can apply Vaseline or tape so that it wouldn’t spot anything. Thus, while it was trustworthy in the past and used less, the latest technology like Snickometer and Hawk-Eye Operators are infinitely reliable.

Real-Time Analytics

Data analytics has caught the attention of cricket enthusiasts all over the world. The coaches and captains use data-driven analytics to make decisions on the cricket pitch as well as judgements of who to match up. The real-time statistics keep the audience and at-home viewers informed. This allows enthusiasts to take a deep dive into the strategic side of cricket.

LED Stumps and Bails

Across the more than 1 acre field, matches are almost always too close. Stumpings and dislodged bails are close calls that can make or break a game. LED stumps and bails light up when they break and come off their groves, making the judgement easier. It’s also a delight for enthusiasts to see them light up.

Living the Cyborg LIfe

Is blood glucose monitoring the newest craze among athletes? Customers can purchase intrusive sensors from Ultrahuman to be implanted into their arms, where they will use a smart app to continuously check their blood glucose levels. The ultimate result is real-time advice on how to improve one’s lifestyle, together with a vast ecosystem of knowledge relating to metabolic health. After testing the Ultrahuman M1 for two weeks, we’d like to talk about how our lives have changed.

Ultrahuman uses Abbott’s Freestyle Libre 2, which has been on the market since 2019, as its glucose sensor. Additionally, many diabetics use it to keep an eye on their blood glucose levels. There is nothing to worry about because the technology is tried and true, right? However, I find it unsettling to imagine a thin, flexible filament in my skin.

It goes without saying that I had mixed emotions before to the cyborg experiment, especially since I had already looked at too many images of the sensor. I’ll leave it up to you to decide if that’s fortunate or not.

So I worked up the confidence to insert the chip into my arm after putting the sensor in the applicator. Just how did I feel? Absolutely nothing! I was a little concerned about the needle being trapped somewhere during the first two days, especially at night. But in daily life, neither when exercising nor while sleeping, I was unaware of the 0.4-millimetre thin filament in my skin. I only ever got caught on the couch once, giving me a brief feeling of being bitten by an insect. Overall, my fears were unjustified, and Ultrahuman also provides strong plasters to protect the sensor.

By tapping my new sticker with the phone, the sensor and app were first paired. The app cautioned me that the readings could be erroneous for the first 24 hours, but it held me in suspense for another two hours while waiting for the sensor to be fully calibrated. I encountered zero connectivity issues with the sensor and smartphone throughout the review period.

Using a chocolate bar in between meals to circumvent the calorie counter app is more difficult with Ultrahuman. Any food with a significant amount of sugar, even a few grapes or two figs, will cause the Ultrahuman app to send a push notification: “Your blood sugar is currently increasing. What did you consume?”

Now, the software assigns a score to each food item depending on how it affects blood sugar levels. The software uses your personal top lists of the greatest and worst foods to create the best food lists for you. The intriguing aspect of this is how various foods cause varied reactions in various bodies. For one person, what is healthy may induce blood sugar spikes and crashes in another.

Score and Metabolic Vectors

The Ultrahuman app assigns a score between 1 and 100 to each day based on measured data, tracked activities, and diet. Of course, the crucial factor in this situation is the percentage of the day that you spend within the desirable blood glucose range of 70 to 110 mg/dL. However, it’s also crucial to prevent peaks and valleys in the level; a smooth uphill and downward gradient is optimal.

How can this be done? The software continuously explains everything while in use and offers fresh suggestions. For instance, if there is a surge, the app suggests taking a walk after eating or taking a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar first.

The programme also contains metabolic vectors in addition to the daily score. This depiction of your performance in the three categories of focus, longevity, and athleticism. The less your blood sugar fluctuates, the more focused you are. Your longevity increases with the number of peaks and the amount of time your blood sugar is at its ideal level. And it’s obvious that consistent exercise and healthy blood sugar levels are beneficial for your athletic score.

Additionally, you’ll receive an estimate of your daily HbA1c level, which can help determine if you have diabetes, prediabetes, or neither. The app provides daily tests as well as long-term averages and a summary of your metabolic fitness.

Conclusion

Two weeks spent living as a cyborg

The sensor stopped functioning as expected and stopped producing results exactly two weeks later. I feel like I’ve been robbed of a sense since this shelf life is restricted for hygiene reasons. My body served as a laboratory for two weeks, and the results motivated me more than wearing any other fitness tracker before to be disciplined about exercise and especially food.

I consider the Ultrahuman M1 to be one of the most exciting technological advancements of the last 15 years, and I’m really interested in how blood glucose monitors will become more widely used and advance our understanding of nutrition and fitness in the next years. The utility of fitness wearables will advance dramatically at the latest when blood glucose testing operates with adequate optical precision and hence becomes slightly more accessible to the general public.

5 Ways To Do Tech And Digital Detox

We are currently living in a digital era where most of the things happening to us are online. We are possibly in the best-connected period in human history where even the people farthest away are just one FaceTime session away, and even the most confidential information can be accessed through the internet.

However, as much as technology comes in handy, it has side effects, some that are obvious but are rather ignored, and some that build up in our consciousness and creep through us without us knowing. Too much technology- whether it’s spending time on smartphones, social media, or in front of a digital screen – can have unintended consequences.

Dialogue in Clinical Neuroscience, in June 2020, published a review which suggested that frequent use of technology has been linked to heightened attention-deficit symptoms, impaired social and emotional intelligence, technology addiction, social isolation, and disrupted sleep.

Why is digital detox necessary? Well, if something is consuming a lot of your thoughts or conditioning your behaviour and interfering with your personal life, it might be a good time to cut back its usage. A study published by the Libyan Journal of Medicine in 2022 found that people who complete digital detox reported positive changes in their mood, sleep, and anxiety.

5 Ways To Do Digital Detox

Honestly, ditching technology isn’t going to happen anytime soon but cutting it down to a certain extent seems like a sane approach. Here are a few strategies to help you manage your technology use and experiment with your digital detox.

Take Periodic Breaks

Breaks can reduce stress, particularly among heavy tech users. Supposedly, if you are a working professional or a student whose most of the time goes in front of the laptop screen, you need to take periodic breaks to save your eyes and sanity. Try to take a 15-minute walk and see at a distance to give your mind and eyes a quick relaxation. And remember to leave your phone behind.

Downgrade your Phone

If you cannot help but check your phone every 2 minutes, you can buy a phone that does not support apps. That might be extreme, but how about cleaning your smartphone a little? Try deleting the apps that consume most of your time. Also, checking the screen time regularly would eventually make you feel guilty about the choices that you have been making.

Consume digital information mindfully and not passively. Keep your notifications off most of the time, and do not let them get to you while you should be the one that goes to them once in a while intentionally.

We should understand that the world will not stop without us. You can schedule an hour or two per day to read what’s new.

Make a Schedule

It takes time to get over your habits, but slowly and gradually, you get there. The best way to handle a digital addiction is to make a schedule and stick to it. You can start with making a schedule for a day and then eventually for the week and then for the whole month.

When you make a schedule, you start prioritizing things that keep you healthy and happy. Rest becomes secondary. Your priority list can contain your family time, games, work schedule, study schedule, walking outside, or simply lying down and doing nothing.

Try to keep your phone away and put your focus and energy that makes you feel fulfilled and keeps you happy.

Digital Sabbatical

Constantly being online and communicating can be unhealthy, and it is essential to recognize when it’s time to break from the digital world. A digital sabbatical is when you take leave from the internet for an extended period. It can range between 2 hours to a week and, in extreme cases, for a month, depending upon your plans.

What’s even more insidious is our habit of focusing on work while leaving the digital apps running in our background. One whistle from this app, and bam! We are off course. The purpose of a digital sabbatical is to switch off from the world for some time. When you disconnect from the external world, you understand that you did not miss much while you were gone. You learn that everything can wait, and things follow their course even if you do not reply to an Instagram text.

Take time off work, visit the place you have wanted to visit for a very long time, or go back to your hometown and spend time with your family and friends.

Reach Out To a Mental Health Professional

No, it’s not weird to talk it out. A survey done in 2017 associated Instagram with negative attributes and low self-esteem, causing depression and anxiety in young adults. Most people feel bullied or go through Fear of Missing Out(FOMO) when they see pictures of their connections living the ”fairy-tale life”.

Most teenagers, especially girls, feel that they do not have the perfect face and body that the world thinks is ”desirable”. If you are going through a similar phase, it is necessary to talk to a professional and take help. You can also reach out to your friends and family, for they understand you better than anyone else.

Five Disastrous Tech of 2021

The past two pandemic years have exposed our vulnerability and dependence towards technology, while revealing many seams and holes in the system. As we slide down to 2022, here’s five of the disasters we witnessed in the digital and technology world in the year 2021:

JioPhone Next

JioPhone Next was problematic to start with. The device offered PragatiOS, a rebranded version of Android Go, and was expensive for the audience that it intended to serve. Jio has a known history of undercutting competitors on mobile data packs at low prices. But when it came to the JioPhone, the company had a hard time convincing the first-time smartphone users to buy the device at a whopping price of Rs 6,499. It’s safe to say that the phone did not create any buzz and went away as silently as it came.

Meta

Facebook’s name change came after a whistleblower dropped a trove of documents, exposing the company’s misdeeds and its obsession with growth. Facebook tried to rebrand itself as a metta-verse company that is probably going to shape the future. Metaverse as a whole is not a failed concept, but rather, scary and disastrous, since it will put everyone in a simulation. I really can’t understand why anyone would want to create a virtual version of themselves and buy things that just don’t ‘exist’?

NFT

NFT or Non Fungible Token are intended to be unique digital identifiers. It’s main objective is to make digital art scarce by making one copy the ‘original copy’. The digital copy is then sold like a traditional art piece at a way higher price than what a copy would have been sold for. In many cases, artist’s work gets used without their permission and this blockchain oriented transaction is quite hard to follow.

5G

5G is hailed as the next big thing and promises to deliver data at breakneck speeds to all our devices. The problem is, it doesn’t do a lot right now. There are companies that are promising to deliver the 5G network and mobile phones now come with bands supporting 5G, we have a long way to go before we finally start witnessing the speed that 5G promises.

Grand Theft Auto Definitive Edition

For us, GTA means childhood. We have grown up on this game and have got exceptional love for the same. But when studios pick up old games and make them compatible with new consoles for quick cash, it often falls flat. When Rockstar dropped the ‘definitive edition’, things seemed more than a little off. Gamers were expecting modernized graphics with increased realism, but what they got was a bizarre fusion of high-gloss textures and awkward, ugly character models. It was filled with so many bugs and glitches and was so disappointing that the company was forced to publicly apologize.

5 Racing technologies that have been adopted for road use

5 Racing technologies that have been adopted for road use

Automobile racing as an organized sport began in the mid 19th century with the initial races between gasoline powered internal combustion vehicles. Sports car racing emerged as a platform for various automakers to prove themselves on the tarmac, which paved its path for a lot many automotive technologies which in future, would turn out to become an everyday usage tech. With the intention of dominating the streets, a lot of manufacturers, in time adopted ways and techniques to make better cars for everyone. From safety to increased power and handling, innovations in the sector have created numerous technologies for better road handling and drivability of cars. Lets look at 5 such innovations which proved a game changer in the industry.

All Wheel Drive

Roots from rallying, all wheel drive systems were introduced by Audi’s Quattro technology which was the first ever all wheel drive system designed for use in regular everyday cars for all road conditions. All wheel drive means more power and of course better handling at the same time. Extra traction gives better stability to the overall driving dynamics of the vehicle making it easy to drive even on mud and ice.

Turbo / Air intake

A high performance engine needs to breathe properly so as to give out max output from the overall combustion process. The more air there’d be , the better performance and better burning of the air fuel mixture would happen. In turn churning out enough boost. Enhancements like turbochargers, superchargers, Ram air intake systems were all designed for this sole purpose. While this technology was derived from drag racing cars, today it can be found on regular production cars.

Automatic gear transmission

The elimination of engaging the clutch while shifting gears saved a lot of time for racers on track and even proved to be an added performance advantage as they could shift without using the clutch pedal. In today’s scenario, it makes driving a hassle free experience as you don’t have to fiddle around using the clutch pedal in tight bumper to bumper city traffic. Moreover, having an automatic transmission, quick maneuvers like sudden acceleration for overtaking become a less tiring process as the transmission is doing everything on its own.

Disc Brakes and Tyre

Braking is as important as the performance of any vehicle. The disc brake has by far been the most advanced and necessary technology since the inception of cars. Disc brakes have better performance as they have better cooling as compared to drum brakes, thereby decreasing the chances of overheating and hence improving performance. Also, brakes are of no importance if the rubber in contact with the tarmac is of no good. Tyre manufacturers have always used motorsport platforms to test and promote their rubber as it helps them test the durability and drivability of the tyre. Now there are purpose oriented tyre in the market depending on the kind of usage one wants. Highway, mud-terrain, all-terrain, track oriented and also eco-friendly tyre which help in better mileage are now all easily available.

Suspension

The overall driving dynamics and handling is based on the suspensions. Independent suspensions were adopted from race cars as it delivered better stability and drivability. Be it multi-link setup or McPherson struts, both are available on a number of production cars depending on the type. A proper setup helps keep the car stable through twists and turns, and provides comfort over bad roads.

How Blockchain is changing Financial services firm dedicated to asset Investing?

Blockchain technology is one of the most promising financial breakthroughs, with the potential to decrease fraud, provide speedy and secure transactions and exchanges, and ultimately assist in risk management within the interconnected global financial system. Blockchain achieves this by employing powerful cryptography that is supposed to be resistant to hacking, hence enhancing the transaction ecosystem’s trustworthiness.

Blockchain may be used for a variety of financial purposes, including maintaining track of transactions and trades. In this age of digital revolution, as our global financial system becomes more integrated, investors would be wise to understand how blockchain is transforming the system and how to profit from it.

Blockchain’s Financial Services Benefits

Blockchain technology has the potential to make the financial services industry more transparent, less vulnerable to fraud, and less expensive for consumers.

Transparency

Because consumers perform activities on a public ledger, blockchain can make the financial industry more transparent. This transparency can reveal inefficiencies such as fraud, allowing financial organizations to solve problems and decrease risk.

Increasing security

The digital universe is a breeding ground for scammers as customers become more engaged online. This worry could be alleviated thanks to blockchain technology.

Traditional banking payments and money transfers are slower and less traceable than those performed on the blockchain. When data travels via various financial intermediaries, it is possible that it will be intercepted, increasing the risk of fraud. Blockchain’s cryptographic methods, which provide security in the exchange of information between participants, can plug this oversight gap.

Clean audit trails can be difficult to obtain in traditional banking at times. This has led to major economic losses in the past due to irresponsible behavior or malicious actors. By combining blockchain technology with machine learning to monitor and manage hazards with a high degree of precision, this risk may be greatly minimized. Blockchain is required for data integrity in financial technology companies and other organizations that employ big amounts of data. Because the blockchain network is decentralized, there is no single point of failure.

Cost-cutting

Blockchain allows consumers to benefit from decreased costs connected with traditional financial services as investors migrate away from financial advisors to avoid higher fees.

Financial technology firms have grown to be a significant element of the financial services business, allowing investors to establish accounts with digital advisors and make their own financial decisions. Consumers will benefit from this innovation because investors will get better value for their money and will be able to strike a balance between financial service automation and cheaper costs. The first to implement this new technology will be able to streamline internal procedures and give lower-cost financial services to their consumers, thereby beating their competitors on the cost to take a larger share of the market. This benefits the average investor who wants to save money while taking advantage of this new financial services environment.

Financial Institutions Face Risks

One key danger hurting the bottom line weighs against the potential blockchain has for financial institutions. Transaction fees, which might be reduced or eliminated with blockchain technology, are how traditional financial institutions generate money. When it comes to money transfers, consumers must rely on banks or third parties to complete the procedure. However, blockchain adoption could eliminate fees and other costs connected with these services by bypassing third parties such as banks.

As a result, banks may encounter volume and transaction-based income issues. Blockchain makes proprietary financial infrastructure-less important because it serves as a verification mechanism that is “not concentrated in the power of one institution. Furthermore, blockchain innovation is moving at such a rapid pace that regulation has yet to catch up. As a result, possible policies affecting blockchain can be considered as a further impediment to blockchain adoption in financial services.

how did crypto kitties emerge as a game changer for NFT?

NFTs have hit the era thanks to CryptoKitties. It’s a blockchain-based virtual game where players can implement, raise, and trade virtual cats. On a blockchain, cats were introduced worth millions. This awesome project appeared on every news channel. Maybe it was because the game was saturating and slowing down the Ethereum blockchain, or was it because people made insane profits. The rise of CryptoKitties combined with the 2017 cryptocurrency bull market, fanning the flames. People bought breeding and trading virtual cats at an astonishing rate. Many people became mindful of the possibility of non-fungible tokens as a result of this.

Blockchain games are considered to have unique advantages over traditional online games in that their gaming data and logic are transparently stored and executed on blockchains . These advantages particularly suit games with in-game payment and chance mechanisms, e.g., gambling, which often suffered from trust issues in traditional online environment. As a result, current designs of blockchain games mainly revolve around the generation, ownership, and trading of virtual assets.

Nonetheless, most of the current blockchain games lack playability. Possible reasons include that current blockchain platforms restrict developers from implementing complex game functions, current developers are paying insufficient attention to the players’ gaming experience, and lack a competitive market in the blockchain game industry. Not surprisingly, the popularity of CryptoKitties only lasted for a short period, too.

Gaming Rules

CryptoKitties game has five smart contracts: the Core contract, GeneScience contract, Offers contract, SalesAuction contract, and SiringAuction contract. The names of these contracts could be found on Etherscan. Based on these contracts, players can trade or transfer kitties with other players and breed new kitties.

2018–2019 — NFTs Prosper

The NFT environment expanded rapidly in 2018 and 2019. There are now over 100 projects in space and more on the way. NFT marketplaces are prospering, with OpenSea and SuperRare gaining ground. The trade volumes are small in comparison to other crypto markets, but they are growing very fast and have come a long way. As Web3 wallets such as Metamask continue improving, it is easier to integrate the NFT ecosystem. Characters (similar to domains), plot lines of virtual land, virtual apparel, event opening tickets, asteroid mining resources, and other functionalities are now readily accessible for NFTs.

The numerous NFT games and projects that are collaborating to make items easily deployable are by far the most exciting development in the space. For instance –, suppose a player in one game has a dagger that can be transferred to the next game and converted into a rare piece of fabric. The possibilities are truly limitless with integrations. 2021 is the year NFTs are the future in the blockchain era with accelerated growth, innovation, and progression.

Universal Charging Cable for the Entire EU Region

“Excuse me, can you give me your mobile charger for some time?” “Oops, it’s a C cable.” “Sorry, I won’t be able to use it.” Such statements must have come when you tried to borrow a smartphone charger, and damn, you found that the cable is not compatible with your device. Ever came the feeling of sulking due to these instances? I am sure it must have come. But, if you are in the EU, there’s good news for you. The EU has announced that if mobile manufacturers want to sell their smartphones, they should come with a universal charger. Precisely, it will be a USB-C charging cable. Let’s know what the impact of this development will be on everyone from this blog.

Universal Charging Cable for EU

The European Commission has come up with a proposed rule that mobile manufacturers have to bring USB-C cable chargers for the smartphones meant to be sold in the EU region. According to the European Commission, the proposed rules will apply to smartphones, tablets, cameras, headphones, portable speakers, handheld video game consoles, etc. However, the European Commission has kept smartwatches, earbuds, fitness trackers, etc. The basic objective behind this step is to reduce the electronic waste getting generated every day. Apart from this, the European Commission also believes that this step will encourage users to reuse existing chargers.

Even An Apple Not Allowed

Gone were the days when we used to say that an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Here, the European Commission is somewhere trying to remove that bridge between you and the doctor. Well, the tech giant has come up with strong opposition, and this proposed rule will somewhere hit their market and consumer base. As per the Commission’s impact study, around 21% of EU consumers who have a smartphone use Apple’s lightning connector, while the rest of the population has either a micro-B or USB-C connector.

Final Remarks

Apple’s concerns are right, but the EU has a better reason. The EU is thinking about a region where an average person has almost three mobile chargers, with unused and disposed charging cables emitting 11000 tonnes every year. There’s no doubt that it will drastically hit Apple’s outreach. Hence, the best will be that the European Commission comes with a midway path and phase-wise scrapping of these cables that Apple innovates. This step will allow Apple to get the optimum time to make changes and shift to other charging technology. To follow more news on Exhibit, click on this link

How does blockchain revolutionize the agriculture sector ?

Among the most practical implementations to be built on the Blockchain is a massive challenge in agriculture, so one can perceive it as an opportunity. Consumers are more aware of food security, where Blockchain applications can play a crucial role in tackling many of agriculture’s most pressing issues.

Farmers are presently facing many difficulties in agriculture, but with the proper application of Blockchain technology, these issues can be solved:

  • Discord between the supplier and the seller
  • Scarcity of financial resources
  • Throughout food production and distribution, there is a lack of transparency.
NEED FOR BLOCKCHAIN IN THE AGRICULTURE SECTOR

Agriculture is a vital part of human society as well as the basis of today’s life. Agriculture’s strong links to the global market, bio-diversity, and human lives and history are undisputable. It is the world’s largest industry, employing over 1.3 billion people and valued at $5 trillion (ILO, n.d). (Goedde, 2015). Agriculture empowered us to grow our own food, and as a matter of fact, humans shifted focus from a hunter’s society to a self-sustaining one. Competition for economic resources and the role of agribusiness firms, the agricultural value chain includes a wide range of activities from farmer to consumer (farm equipment, seeds, fertilizer, insecticides). Agriculture can all be extensively divided into 3 main levels: production, industrial processing, and retail or wholesale distribution. Each process is linked to the next brings the value of business inputs or goods. Agriculture is highly dependent on limited resources such as water, agricultural land, and biodiversity. At each level of the supply chain, different players perform different functions, such as production companies, consumers, and groups that provide means of production such as seeds, fertilizer, and pesticides. Natural resources, such as water, are depleting at an alarming level due to population growth and traditional agricultural methods. Agriculture consumes nearly 70% of the world’s available freshwater.

 Advantages

  • Extensive Demand
  • Advantages in Competition
  • Opportunities that are appealing
  • Policy Assistance Growth Drivers
  • India, the world’s second-most populous country, must meet the consumption needs of approximately 1.20 million people.
  • This is a key demand driver for the country’s agricultural growth.
