How to Find Your Lost Android Smartphone & Wipe Data Remotely?

We often lose our phones within our homes/offices and forget where we kept them exactly, but in such situations, we have an option to make a call and track down our phones. However, when we misplace phones at unknown places or when our phones get stolen, during such instances, we can not track down our lost phone that easily, and we will surely need more help to get back our lost phone.

Previously, people used to file a police complaint and used to wait for days, sometimes weeks, even months, to get back their lost phones, and in a large number of cases, in the end, all they got was frustration and lifelong disappointment. Fortunately, in the past few years, we have entered a more secure tech world, and we can now easily track down and locate our lost phones, lock them, and even wipe all data remotely.

Life without a smartphone is unimaginable, and life with a lost smartphone is almost a tragedy as it contains so much personal data, login credentials and other vital details. In this article, we are going to guide you on how to find your lost Android smartphone and wipe data remotely, but the following steps only work if you have enabled or turned on a few necessary features/options before losing your Android smartphone.

Step 1: Head to android.com/find or head over to Google’s Find My Device website on a separate phone or a laptop and sign in to your Google account with proper login credentials.

Step 2: Once logged in, the website will search for your last used device linked to the account. The page will show you details regarding battery life and the last online status.

Step 3: Click on the refresh button on the right side of the lost phone image, and the page will send a notification to your lost smartphone.

Step 4: As soon as the phone receives a notification, you will be able to see its last known location (approximate), if available.

Step 5: If the shown location is nearby, you can go to the given location and select the Play Sound option to make your phone ring for continuous five minutes. The phone will ring non-stop even if it is set on silent.

Step 6:  If the shown location is unknown to you, please try to get help from law enforcement instead of risking visiting by yourself.

Step 7: If you wish to lock the screen, select the Secure Device feature, which will let you lock the device, and sign out of your Google account. The feature will also show a message and your phone number on the lock screen for the finder to get in touch with you.

Step 8: After trying two of these options, if you’re still not sure of getting your smartphone back, then tap on the Erase Device option, located under the device name and details. The option will erase all your data permanently, and after wiping data, the Find My Device feature will stop working for the device.

Rolls Royce ‘Spirit of Innovation’ Aircraft Breaks Speed Record with 623km/h Top Speed

The British luxury automobile maker Rolls-Royce is best known for making expensive and fancy cars, but now, along with manufacturing automobiles, the company has entered into the aviation world and has developed an aircraft called the ‘Spirit of Innovation’. The aircraft clocked up a maximum top speed of 623km/h (387.4mph) just two months after its maiden flight, which makes it “the world’s fastest all-electric aircraft.”

The company said in a press statement the aircraft set three world records in total, managing 532.1km/h over 15km, climbing to 3,000 metres in 202 seconds, and reaching 555.9 km/h over 3 kilometres, which helped the aircraft smash the existing record by 213.04 km/h. The company has claimed the record and is awaiting confirmation from the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI), who control and certify the world aeronautical and astronautical records.

The ‘Spirit of Innovation’ is an old-school “tail-dragger” aircraft with the canopy pushed way back. The company says the aircraft is powered by a 400kW electric powertrain and the most power-dense propulsion battery pack ever constructed in aerospace. The company partnered with aviation energy storage specialist Electroflight and automotive powertrain supplier YASA to build the aircraft.

The aircraft was designed to smash world records and bring zero-emissions air travel one step closer. The test pilot and Rolls-Royce Director of Flight Operations Phill O’Dell achieved a speed of more than 213.04 km/h in the ‘Spirit of Innovation’ and broke the previous record set by the Siemens eAircraft. After breaking the 4-year old record, he said, “this is the highlight of my career and is an incredible achievement for the whole team.”

Rolls Royce’s CEO Warren East said in a statement, “Staking the claim for the all-electric world-speed record is a fantastic achievement for the ACCEL team and Rolls-Royce. Following the world’s focus on the need for action at COP26, this is another milestone that will help make ‘jet zero’ a reality and supports our ambitions to deliver the technology breakthroughs society needs to decarbonize transport across air, land and sea.”

What is it that you don’t know about crypto?

Are you interested in cryptocurrencies?

Here are some fascinating facts about which you may be unaware. People are learning how to buy a cryptocurrency and looking for easy ways to buy Bitcoin as interest in cryptocurrency grows. It’s not surprising that some prospective investors want to learn more about how digital assets work. However, in the world of cryptocurrency, the truth can sometimes be stranger than fiction. It’s been a wild ride, and we still don’t know where cryptocurrencies will go in the future, but here are some equally crazy facts about cryptocurrencies and other digital assets.

1)Gas is the term used to describe Ethereum fees.

When completing transactions on the Ethereum blockchain, you must pay for “gas.” The computational effort required to complete the transaction is represented by gas on the Ethereum network. Using the network for apps or transactions, even converting another coin to ether, necessitates the payment of gas. Gas fees can feel quite high in some cases, depending on the transaction and traffic on the blockchain.

2) One of the first blockchain games was CryptoKitties.CryptoKitties, one of the first blockchain games, allows you to breed one-of-a-kind digital cats. CryptoKitties are not a currency; rather, they are a type of non-fungible token (NFT). Because each kitty is unique and cannot be replicated, they have a one-of-a-kind value, similar to artwork. CryptoKitties, by the way, is built on the Ethereum blockchain.

3) The most expensive CryptoKitty was purchased for 600 ETH.

Someone paid 600 ETH for a CryptoKitty Dragon in 2018. At the time of the transaction, 600 ETH was worth approximately $170,000. Today, however, with the price of one ether exceeding $2,700, that 600 ETH would be worth more than $1.6 million. That is one pricey digital cat!

4)NFTs are not currency.

NFTs are not cryptocurrencies, despite their growing popularity and status as digital assets. They are tokens that do not serve as a medium of exchange. Furthermore, NFTs cannot be divided or replicated.NFTs are becoming increasingly popular as alternative investments, similar to artwork or collectibles. In fact, some people see them as digital collectibles and artwork with the potential to appreciate in value. There are even NFTs, such as those provided by NBA TopShot, that function in a manner similar to digital sports trading cards.

5)Cryptocurrencies are prohibited in some countries.

Cryptocurrencies are not legal in every country. Some countries, such as Turkey, prohibit cryptocurrency payments, while others, such as Nigeria, prohibit cryptocurrency exchanges. However, one of the most significant recent bans is China’s prohibition on financial institutions providing services related to cryptocurrency transactions.

Even though countries can regulate access to service providers and shut down exchanges, it is nearly impossible to outright prohibit the use of cryptocurrencies. But, with one of the world’s largest economies opposing cryptocurrencies, it’s difficult to predict how things will play out in the future.

Bottomline

Cryptocurrencies offer a number of interesting opportunities for investing, as well as possibilities for the future. However, it’s essential to be careful about how you invest, especially with a new asset class. Carefully consider your risk tolerance before moving forward and make sure investing in digital assets is appropriate for your investment strategy.

How to Activate Your Airtel & Jio eSIM on iPhones & Android Phones?

Bharti Airtel and Jio are two of the largest and most preferable telecom operators in India. Even after ten years, most cryptocurrency enthusiasts are not familiar with interesting facts about Bitcoin. Here are some interesting facts about Bitcoin that every Bitcoin holder should know, let us see.

1) However, it may surprise you that the current inventor of bitcoin is accordingly anonymous. We all know that the creation of Bitcoin is attributed to Satoshi Nakamoto, although we have no idea if a single person or a whole group of people is behind the alias. This is the most popular and surprising fact about the world of cryptocurrencies, the person or organization that created Bitcoin is unknown. Many people came forward and stated that they were the ones who started it, but none of them were reliable sources.

2) We think it should start with “Once Upon a Time” … In short, on May 22, 2010, a Bitcoin developer paid 10,000 BTC for two pizzas he ordered from Papa Jones. It’s hard to believe how far Bitcoin and the market, in general, have come. At the time, 10,000 bitcoin was worth about $40, so one bitcoin was “worth” slightly less than half a cent. If you had that much money in bitcoin today, it would be worth more than $350 million.

As the authors of NerdWallet pointed out, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin may not be as secure, and some prominent voices in the investment community have advised budding investors to avoid them.
