Tech Start-ups Save The Day – A ‘Post Pandemic’ World

Start-ups are gearing up for the post pandemic era. The innovative tech brimming to come to life will not only be helpful but will also become the norm. We all know that going forward, social distancing and personal hygiene are the new essentials. Plenty of start-ups are coming up with some practical solutions that will help businesses implement these essentials. It’s a great idea to focus on these absolute necessities right now because we don’t want another pandemic to render us handicapped.

DINGG, a Pune-based start-up has come up with a platform that manages queues and bookings and customers are already giving it a thumbs up.

DINGG’s customer acquisition has gone up manifold during the lockdown. The start-up helps its customers with bookings and appointments at hospitals, salons and even wine shops. Their wait-time prediction engine helps in reducing customer-waiting time and eases the management of the customer flow.

Akshay Poorey, one of the founders was concerned about the struggle of people and vendors to deal with the current crises. The platform was launched in order to address this problem as it would make it easier for people to book their appointments through the all, SMS or a missed call. They don’t need to waste their time waiting for their turn at the vendor. DINGG also offers customized solutions to clinics, spas, private hospitals and boutiques. The offerings include token system and queue management.

DINNG is currently offering solutions to people in eight cities and plans on expansion in the near future. It has also been shortlisted for the ‘Cawach’ programme that is launched by the Centre. The programme aims to support start-ups  that are coming up with solutions to challenges during the COVID-19 crisis.

Another start-up, Park+ is focussing on smart parking solutions for malls. It is an app-based platform that functions on cloud-based automated parking systems for malls and other establishments. The solution aims at helping with parking discovery, booking, payment and tracking.

Staqu, a Gurgaon based start-up, uses artificial intelligence that can help corporates to suspect tracing and PPE monitoring. When it comes to keeping the air virus-free, Magneto CleanTech has the perfect solution. They’ve launched an air filter device that comes with filterless magnetic air purification technology and ultraviolet technologies. The start-up claims that the device had the ability to decontaminate indoor air by killing over 90 percent of the viruses.

All of these start-ups are doing their bit for everyone by giving solutions that will help not only during the pandemic but also long after. The centre’s Cawach programme is also an encouragement that will help more and more tech start-ups come forward to work towards achieving a virus-free environment. How well the products fare and how practical the solutions are is for time to tell. As of now, we are glad that there’s hope!

Evolution of Marketing in Tech during COVID

All of us have been constantly talking about the impact of COVID in various industries. In this post, let’s read about the evolution of marketing in tech during the COVID-19 era. All we have seen are adverse effects albeit a few industries like online education, e-commerce, mobile apps and social media platforms have seen a growth. When we talk about tech, we know that’s the future and the good thing is that we already are in the future! With artificial intelligence slowly taking centre stage, being under control of our businesses is becoming easier. With all of this, there’s one thing where we want to spend the money right now and at the same time we don’t want to. Marketing. We need recall more than ever but do we have the funds? If we have the funds and if marketing is the priority, do we have the right ways, channels, communication methods to do it?

Not only the world has changed in terms of the economy and health but also in mindset and behaviour. How do you present yourself in front of someone who has no intention to buy right now, especially if you don’t fall under the category of ‘essential goods’. While so many tech brands suffer from figuring out the right way to communicate at the moment, some others have taken this opportunity to gain a new set of audience and to build more credibility. Honestly, it’s the way you perceive the situation and build a strategy on it. Let’s take a look at some of the tech brands and what have they been doing in the last few months to stay in their people’s minds.

1. Amazon

For years Amazon has been responsible for changing a buyer’s mindset, thereby changing their behaviour when it comes to online shopping. While for regular things such as books, household items, etc it was always the ‘go to’ app, lately it’s focus on groceries has given fruitful results. Initially where customers were apprehensive of buying grains and pulses from an app that has never done so before, today they’re not only buying groceries but are also trusting the giant for long term usage for the same. Insane. Isn’t it? They’ve also been focussing on promoting sellers who provide health and fitness products or services. After all, our well-being is of utmost importance in such times. We’d say, Amazon has been quick to make this happen and the communication to the consumer has been effective.

Take a look at how Amazon has been doing this via their social media platforms:

As you can see the introduction of ‘Wow Wednesdays’ is a great idea. Promoting OZiva that deals in natural and herbal products and focusing on wellbeing via special IG TV episodes has helped Amazon Garner attention. While these sessions also help the brand OZiva, at times like these, Amazon is in a complete win-win situation. Topics like fitness and mental health are sure to keep the customers interested for a long time to come and choosing social media to run ‘episodes’ that revolve around the same will keep the audience coming back.

Right. Now, it is best to make the most use of social media for all kinds of marketing. The benefits as we know are:

  1. You already have an audience.
  2. Lesser spends give you more reach.
  3. That’s where everyone is spending the most time right now.

Not only has Amazon picked the right channel but also the right products and messaging. The subject of wellness and fitness is something that is a universal favourite at the moment.

Here’s a few other essentials they’ve been focussing on and all the focus is on the things you can do at home right now.

We think this is a great way to communicate not only with your audience but also an opportunity to showcase all the essential products and services you offer to them during a phase like this. Directly shoving your products in the customer’s face right now is of no use. This is an ‘authentic’ way to show you care.

2. Audi

We know that the automobile industry has been negatively impacted but Audi’s communication to the audience is simple, concise and effective. While they can’t change the fact that the whole industry is going downhill, they’ve made sure that the message they give is positive and reassuring; focussing on the ‘journey’ ahead. They’re not losing hope and are holding on to their audience with comforting communication.

Take a look.

Their quick thinking drove them to create the MyAudi Connect App that lets you book services, know your trip history, get fuel updates and more!

The same Audi with a different messaging, offering an ‘app’ experience to all the customers. Very evolutionary and very quick.

3. Apple

Hasn’t Apple always done something unique that touches people’s lives and hearts? It has always had an ‘inclusive’ culture where it always has made efforts to be a part of its own community. With a human touch, Apple has never failed to impress it’s audience, despite all the controversies it has been a part of. With the lockdown during the pandemic, it’s no different. Here’s how they’ve been working on keeping everyone together and connected during ‘COVID times’.

#TheAtHomeSeries is the hashtag they’ve added to #ShotoniPhone when people are sharing their images. This, along with sharing the stories associated with those images is intriguing and uses ‘storytelling’ to captivate it’s audience.

Storytelling can never go wrong, especially in times like these where everyone is seeking a more authentic human connection. Marrying the art of storytelling that involves ‘at home’ activities with the impeccable quality images shot on iPhone is a brilliant idea. The images become a part of the story and build the much needed empathy and connection.

While all of these are just a few examples of how tech brands are perceiving the pandemic and using the opportunity to showcase a different kind of messaging, there are many who are trying their best to keep up with the times. However, survival will belong to those who ‘evolve’ with the times.

We Misunderstand Elon Musk’s interpretation of AI. But why?

It won’t be an exaggeration to say that Elon Musk’s interpretation of AI is widely misunderstood.

You might want to call Elon Musk as someone who is a revolutionary inventor and one of the brightest minds in Silicon Valley, but when it comes to AI, he is pessimistic. However the same is not true for other technologies. In his speech at MIT in 2014, he called AI as ‘Humanities biggest existential threat’ and compared it with Frankenstein.

If you are someone who follows the tech entrepreneurs of the silicon valley, then you have definitely heard of the love-hate relationship of AI and Elon Musk. Before you completely brand him as anti-AI or Conservative, read below before forming a bias.

Being one of the early proponents of AI, Elon Musk is one of the first investors in DeepMind. He also set up the $1 billion OpenAI research lab. But what is it that makes him tweet things like, AI is more dangerous than nukes or WWIII, more dangerous than nukes.

Read why Microsoft is Replacing employees with AI

Being a critique of AI, Musk’s comments are not well received by AI researchers. According to them, Musk’s statement, “ AI will soon become just as smart as humans and said that when it does we should all be scared as humanity’s very existence is at stake.” is nothing short of ludicrous.

One of the AI researcher at a U.K university on the condition of anonymity said,

“I instinctively fall on dislike, because he makes up such nonsense, But then he delivers such extraordinary things. It always leaves me wondering, does he know what he’s doing? Is all the visionary stuff just a trick to get an innovative thing to market?”

After his investment in Deepmind and it being acquired by Google, he set up a new $1 billion AI research lab named OpenAI in Silicon Valley, which has a particular focus on AI safety.

He tweeted in September 2017 that, most likely AI could be the cause of Third World War as a response to Putin’s statement who said that the nation who leads in AI would be the ruler of the world.

And this might sound like something straight from a sci-fi movie, Musk’s eyes had fancied another deep-tech startup Neuralink. The start-up wants to merge people’s brains and AI with the help of a Bluetooth enabled processor that sits in the skull and talks to a person’s phone. In July 2019, the company said human trials would begin in 2020.

Now the question that might come to your mind, if he is so intimidated by the emerging technology, what makes him invest in AI?

The probable answer is, he wants to keep things closer which he thinks might pose risk to the existence of humankind. Maybe he is apprehensive of the fact that AI is turning humans into cyborgs and hence staying close to what he thinks is an ‘enemy’!

Undaunted Taapsee Pannu Answers Our Fiery and Strange Questions

Interviewed | September 2017
Leaping forward moment by moment and Tan Tana-ing her way to the top, Taapsee Pannu returns to add her exclusive charm on the Exhibit cover once again. While at that, we revelled in a lot of nostalgia – catching her between shots as she touched her makeup and she bowling us over with her bold aura. But like she said, February wasn’t too far away when we shot her first. So we wonder has anything changed at all?
Well, by the looks of it, it was long enough for Taapsee to become absolutely fit, do multiple films, have a big release under her belt that I’m sure you all know about and mark her “here to stay” spot in Bollywood, too. The last time was an intense conversation about Bollywood, Taapsee as an individual and her strong tech game. So this time, we decided to ask her a bunch of strange questions. But the undaunted Taapsee answered like a Queen and we expected nothing less from this intelligent actress who has been ever so smart in her film choices just like the Hyundai Verna she poses with that’s equally intelligent in design and style.
We took a little tour inside Taapsee’s mind, and it was more entertaining than the Netflix show you’re going to watch today.
Ex: When we shot you in February cut to now – what has changed since we spoke last?
Taapsee Pannu: I have reduced a few inches! Apart from that, I’ve had an interesting change over in terms of the film that I’m doing and something totally different coming up. It’s a very good, upbeat phase of my career. Actually from the time I shot for Exhibit the first time, there has been a very interesting up-phase of my career where people have started noticing me much more, not only in terms of the roles and films I’ve been choosing and doing but also beyond films that I’ve been doing. Everything has been going extremely well without a plan.

Ex: You are on a roll and we’re super excited about seeing you in Judwaa 2. How was your experience working in it?
TP: It was a very different experience from what I’ve done so far but it wasn’t a new experience because I’ve been doing that kind of big, glamourous films in South. It’s just that in Hindi it’s the first time I’m a doing a film of this scale with all glamour and fun. So that way it is new, I’ve done it after a really long time. It felt nostalgic working with David Sir again because I started my career with him in Hindi so getting to work with him again is a big back to square one kind of a feeling. It actually felt like a continuity coming back to the set because a lot of people are same behind the scene when it comes to David sir.
A lot of different co-stars but the same set. Even the choreographer Ganesh Acharya has been doing the Oonchi hai buildings to the Tan Tana Tans and he choreographed Chashme Baddoor and he’s back here. So there were a  lot of deja vu moments being on a David Dhawan set. I think I had my moment of being a quintessential Bollywood heroine – you get to wear the best of clothes, the best dances and be the Diva. So it’s like I had to go through those entrance exams to finally be the Bollywood Diva. It was like a picnic or like a gift you get when you’ve done well where I could just enjoy and be like royalty.

Ex: Tech and Fashion – what do you think of this unique relationship?
TP: When you talk about a person who bends towards Technology, we very rarely care about what Fashion is because we’re so into what technology about, what’s new, what’s coming up, what can be changed and rebooted. But when it comes to gadgets, they need to be extremely in sync with Fashion because it becomes a part of your look. So gadgets need to be in sync with Fashion, I feel. That’s where Fashion comes in Technology.

Ex: Who is your fashion role model and why?
TP: It has always been Kate Middleton. I’ve always seen her as a fashion inspiration.

Ex: What’s your go-to Fashion trend?
TP: Actually I don’t follow trends; it’s more like what you are comfortable in or what you can carry with confidence or with which you can make your own style statement.  I don’t keep track of trends actually, my stylist does it for me. I’m very bad at keeping up-to-date with what is going on in the Fashion world right now.

Ex: Name the worst fashion blunder you made.
TP: When I went by someone else’s fashion sensibilities, feeling nice about what I was wearing just because I thought that person was better than me. It turned out to be a big blunder because I was not comfortable, it didn’t match my sensibilities and I wasn’t carrying it well.

Ex: What is the best learning you have had as an actress?
TP: Just forget that there is a camera. A lot of times people act for the camera, I used to do that too. The moment you forget that there is a camera, you’ll become a better actor.
Taapsee PANNU – the Tech Freak

Ex: Tell us the techiest fact about yourself.
TP: That I’m still one of those teenagers or kids who get excited when they see a toy. I still spend 24 hours non-stop whenever I get a new gadget in hand. So I get very excited with my new gadgets.

Ex: The latest gadget you’re trying your hands on?
TP: New Macbook Pro

Ex: Best tech you own?
TP: Being a traveller, I’m very proud of owning a GoPro because I feel like I don’t need anyone to take my pictures anymore and take some really cool pictures.

Ex: A gadget you can’t wait to get your hands on?
TP: I need to get some new Wi-Fi speakers for my place which I can connect to my TV, my phone or computer.

Ex: Favourite App?
TP: Right now I’m trying some courier app which can help me deliver couriers without going to a place.

Ex: Thoughts on AI?
TP: I want AI to tell me which picture or video out of the lot is better because I always get confused.

Ex: Favourite feature in a phone?
TP: That I can multitask in between my mails, calls, messages and pictures.

Ex: A gadget you wish is invented?
TP: Time machine.

IF-

Ex: You could live in any era what would it be?
TP: I would probably want to go back to 90s. There’s some nostalgia about, that time.

Ex: You were the President for a day what would you do?
TP: I would give myself a National Award.

Ex: You had to be stuck on an island, 3 things you’d have with you?
TP: I don’t want my phone at that  point (laughs). I would want a boat but not to go back home, but to go exploring, a small sleeping bag because I live to sleep and my GoPro!

Ex: You could have one superpower?
TP: Travel in time.

Ex: You could master one instrument- Flute
TP: Your life was a book, the title would be- Live life Queen size.

THAT ONE-

Ex: Country you’d like to visit?
TP: There’s not one. I need to visit many before I die. But the one country I’m really looking forward to seeing is Caribbean because there are so many islands! I want to get stuck on one of the islands there.

Ex: Thing you can’t live without?
TP: I think I can live without anything. I’m not over-attached. I know the art of detachment.

Ex: Person who makes you starstruck?
TP: Sam Clafflin, Andy Murray and Robert Downey Jr.

Ex: Sci-fi character you wish comes to life?
TP: I want all Avengers to come to life. My personal fav is Iron Man. He should come to life and I should get to meet him.

FAVOURITE-

Ex: Movie?
TP: I’m a huge X-men fan so it has to be the X men series.

Ex: Cheat food?
TP: Chole Bhature or cake.

Ex: Quote?
TP: “Jo hota hai ache ke liye hota hai aur acche logon ke saath hamesha accha hota hai” – that is something I always tell myself whenever I feel a little down or out.

Ex: Cocktail?
TP: I’m a hopeless teetotaler. I can’t even tell you the difference between any type of alcohol.

THE BEST

Ex: Piece of advice given to you?
TP: “Suno sabki karo apni” – by my dad.

Ex: Gift you have given?
TP: I think I give the best gifts to my sister. I give her gifts without her knowing it’s a gift. She gets free trips to Goa, she gets everything sitting at home be it holiday or the best of restaurants to go to or the spas.

Ex: Pinch me moment?
TP: I still don’t believe it has happened when I had dinner sitting next to the President of India. I saw Pink next to him and then I went and sat next to him to have dinner.

Ex: Inspirational movie?
TP: Chak de India.

We’re sure you never got asked this but-

Ex: What makes you judge a person the most?
TP: Just the sense of conversation, how that person strikes a conversation.

Ex: What song are you listening to on loop?
TP: A Thousand Years by Christina Perri

Ex: Your spirit animal?
TP: Tiger

Ex: Best and worst pick up lines said to you?
TP: Some of them are very lame like, “Do you believe in love at first sight or should I walk by again?”

Ex: Funniest person you know?
TP: My sister.

Ex: An animated character you love the most?
TP: All the three Powerpuff girls.

Ex: Weirdest hashtag you’ve read?
TP: There is one I made which is called #IDon’tKnowHowToUseFilters because I try to use them and I make it worse at times. So I just say #NoFilter because #IDon’tKnowHowToUseFilters.

For no reason at all:
Ex: Worst habit?
TP: I eat my nails and the skin around it.

Ex: Priciest thing you’ve splurged on?
TP: I don’t spend on anything as much as I spend on my travel.

Ex: Funniest thing you’ve read about yourself on the internet?
TP: When I started my wedding planning company people just didn’t understand that I was not the one getting married.

Ex: Ideal first date?
TP: It will be either in the middle of the air while skydiving or underwater while scubadiving.

Ex: Most romantic thing someone can do for you?
TP: If he just lets me be without expecting anything from me in return. Just not expect me to always be nice or sweet or be active or do something for him. That is romantic enough for me.

Ex: You always travel with?
TP: Phone, wallet, keys, earphones.

Ex: Secret talent?
TP: That if need be, I can act really well in real life also.

Why Anand Mahindra’s $1 Million in Hapramp makes sense

So many social networking startups! Isn’t the world already so full of social media platforms? Why another? And why the investment? While many thoughts might come to your mind after reading that headline, let us talk about Hapramp and why it is actually so unique and worth it

Hapramp facts:

  1. Founded by 5 young people in 2018 – Shubhendra Vikram, Pratyush Singh, Mofid Ansari, Ankit Kumar and Rajat Dangi
  2. Based in Gurugram
  3. Combines tech, creativity and data security

The Timeline

Just like most startups, the idea of Hapramp came to life in a hostel room! The founders made time for creating the tech startup by doing freelance jobs. It was a risk they were willing to take in order to build something valuable.

While most of you might not be aware of 1Ramp.io, it was one of their first startups based on Steem Blockchain. It has a similar concept – social media for creators where users could earn cryptocurrency basis the upvotes on their content. We think it’s a very cool concept! While 1Ramp.io had become very popular and was presented in two Blockchain events in Thailand and Poland, the challenges the team faced with the user experience was something they wanted to fix.

In 2019, they created GoSocial which was again, a platform for creators and also, Asteria Protocol which is the tech that takes care of data security, privacy and monetisation. Hapramp is an upgrade to that – a platform with better data security from the learnings of 1Ramp.io.

Starting out with GoSocial

Content creators are at the heart of every project that the founders work on. This is because content creators are the ones who build the highest value on the internet today. However, their efforts aren’t monetised fairly most of the time and this is what the focus of Hapramp is.

They were focussed on the problem their platforms solve and the benefit that the users get. GoSocial began with photographers and expanded to having artists and writers too.

A Step by Step Research Model:

  • Internet Age – how long a person has been using the internet.
  • Stages of a Creator’s Journey – discovery (beginners), learning, professional (experts)
  • Self-challenges – All that the creators do to make creative ritual
  • Importance of validation

Using this research and experimenting based on data and learnings, they started building an experience that helps budding creators to learn photography, art and writing in a social context directly from expert creators.

GoSocial has a unique way of building a relationship between the creator and the creation. Expert creators host creative challenges and the users take those challenges! Unique and interesting. GoSocial team’s focus is to work on tools that can help experts monetize their expertise and content.

The Multiple concepts at play here are:

  • Vertical communities
  • P2P exchange of value
  • Personal growth.

Sushant Singh Rajput – The Curious Mind

Sushant Singh Rajput Pens Heartbreaking

I had known Sushant Singh for 5 years, used to meet him in various parties and clubs and have had a lot of drunken memories with him so much that either he has dropped me or I have dropped him home. He was successful, a versatile actor and got all the attention from everyone that one should expect. But he was a curious soul , the most technologically inclined actor I have known till now so often conversations were around what to buy , what’s new to as deep as AI , quantum science etc. He was so intrigued that he bought a telescope and stationed it in his pad and often got into star gazing. Rightfully we gave him “the most techy celeb of the year“ in 2018. But the news of him committing suicide has pulled the rug from below my feet, I can continue to rub my eyes for many days now and repeat “it’s shocking”.
Did he have a mental illness? Yes, he was in rehab recently but was doing fine, infact we were planning a shoot with him also for our cover for which he was an ardent follower but could not get him to shoot ever, either the dates were not there or we had someone else already blocked. But we knew we will shoot something very techy and kick ass whenever we do. Infact we were in conversations for him to endorse a clothing brand, and as a matter of fact he did not like attending events and doing appearances, which today celebrities makes a lot of money from. His idea of life was little different and loved his cars and bikes, and was learning computer gaming in the lockdown. Recently he bought and built a farm house away from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai and often spent time there. Not only he understood algorithms and machine learning, being an engineer he often indulged in it . Did you know that he was a national level Olympiad winner in physics?
Why Suicide? I did not believe the news and I actually dialed his phone which was ringing and went answered. Only wish we could connect with departed souls but I guess technology knows its boundaries and there in no network up there. Yes, he was very inquisitive and curious about life and recently came back from rehab even after all the success which he has achieved and one of the earliest actors who transitioned from “TV” to Bollywood and became a successful hero who could ride a big-ticket Bollywood movie on his shoulders.
I am still shocked if you are with me till here than hang in and let me take a dig at this lockdown and uncertainties which are surrounding all of us and allowed more time to introspect. As they say a busy mind is a happy mind, that’s why probably god has programmed us to do the daily chores, eat, sleep and the rituals and wired us to keep aspiring for the pot of gold which is as invisible as the COVID 19 which we are fighting for. An actors life is not work from home, it’s the sets, it’s the people, lot of them today are doing script reading, training post that you are left with ample time with yourself and then if you have a curious mind like Sushant who often writes poetic, philosophical and does star gazing, what can stop his mind to stop that trigger to explore the other side of life, called afterlife. Stay sane, and rest in peace Sushant, your journey remains incomplete but whatever you have achieved in 34 years of your life is a dream for 99.99% of our population.
Here’s something for all those who are feeling low right now. Which My Colleague Aneesha Kochar has written a few days ago
If it ever crosses your mind
To leave the world behind
Know that kindness is bigger
Than any of your triggers
Know that happiness is real
And not everything is cruel
Know that you can’t yet see
All that your life can be
Know that you’re loved
Even though you’ve not been hugged
I’m here with you to start over
I’ll hear your story, I’ll be your power
I’ll help you undo all the pain
We will embrace happiness once again
But if you’ve followed your mind
And have left the world behind
Know that I’m crying
For you left without trying

Top 3 Video Calling Apps

With the pandemic and the lockdown, so many new ways of working, working out, socializing and dating have emerged! Even though the way we do things have changed, our primary goal remains the same; no matter what ‘The Show Must Go On’. There are some really good guys that thought of some really good apps way before this pandemic was even a thing. These apps weren’t as much in use back then as they’re now. Thanks to the techies who had a vision of a solution when doomsday arrives.

Here we go with 3 apps that you absolutely need for meetings and socializing to save yourself from the clutches of a gloomy lockdown!

1. Zoom

Now there’s a very important meeting which can’t be postponed and the pandemic can be postponed too but Zoom is that place where there’s absolutely no need to postpone! It can be used for a call between friends and partners as much as it can for business meetings! It’s literally time to zoom in because the world is getting smaller more than ever.

Why choose Zoom?

  • It’s absolutely free to use.
  • No complicated processes.
  • Can be used on your phone, tab or on your laptop. Supported by Windows and Mac, both.
  • The screen sharing feature lets you work while you talk!
    Also allows local recording.

Keep in mind that:

Calls on the basic plan can be no longer than 40 minutes.

2.Skype

Here’s all the hype around Skype!

Microsoft has always been ahead of the times and Skype has been around for so long that most of you were probably yet to hit teenage when it was rolled out. One of the very first to execute the concept of video calling and screen sharing, Skype is that forgotten hero that has risen from the ashes again!

Why choose Skype?

  • Its been around for so long because of which the UI is familiar.
  • Available for up to 10-way calling!
  • Easy to connect and good video quality.

Keep in mind that:

Most of the advanced features are only available if you’ve taken up a premium subscription.

3. Google Meet

Wait what? One word that was important just got dropped. The journey from Google Hangouts Meet to Google Meet has brought about some improvements but hangouts was a cool word. Don’t you think?

Alright, so if you use a lot of Google apps (Most of us do), then this is going to be a cakewalk. You create a meeting in Google Calendar, your family, friends, colleagues or whoever was sent the email for this meeting gets the link. They only need to click the link and Voila! They’re on the screen!

Why choose Google Meet?

  • Its so well integrated with all your other Google apps that you won’t need to leave the call if you want to share a file from the drive or open an email while on call.
  • You can start a call directly from Gmail!
  • There’s a live captioning feature!

Keep in mind that:

Your dream to see a seamless video experience with Google Meet without the glitches and ungraceful transitions in a bad network environment is still just that, a dream. So, if the video quality is a huge deal for you, you might not enjoy your meet on Meet. Just saying.

Now all of these are good with minor shortcomings, of course. Look how we have touched the Sky(pe) and ZOOMed into a world beyond the world to (Google) MEET our goals.
