Flying Flea, the design-led mobility brand endorsed by Royal Enfield, used Paris Design Week 2025 as the stage to announce its first global flagship store, set to open in Paris in early 2026.
The announcement was made during a creative collaboration with École Duperré, one of France’s most respected design schools. As part of the takeover, students and artists showcased works inspired by Flying Flea’s guiding philosophy, Live Lightly. Installations included pieces by student Sarah Bouyssou, along with live art, a café space, and immersive masterclasses conducted by the Flying Flea team.

Mario Alvisi, Chief Growth Officer for Flying Flea and Royal Enfield Electric Vehicles, said the choice of Paris carried symbolic weight. “France is where the original Flying Flea motorcycle played a pivotal role during World War II. Today, Paris is not only a hub of global design and culture but also one of Europe’s most dynamic two-wheeler EV markets. This city represents both our past and our future,” he noted.
The announcement underlines Flying Flea’s growing international ambitions. While the brand has been known for experimental, design-first electric two-wheelers, its move into a flagship retail space signals a stronger, long-term presence in Europe.
The Paris Design Week events also included a rooftop panel discussion led by Laurianne Meliere, set against panoramic views of the city, followed by an evening of music and conversation.
For Flying Flea, the Paris store marks more than a retail expansion. It is positioned as both a creative hub and a statement of intent — to merge design, culture, and mobility while deepening the brand’s roots in one of Europe’s most influential cities.
