Qualcomm’s Snapdragon has been ranked as India’s leading premium smartphone chipset brand, according to CyberMedia Research (CMR).
The latest CMR India Smartphone Shipment Tracker for July 2025 reports that Snapdragon holds a 40% share in smartphones priced above ₹25,000.
The recognition comes ahead of the festive season, a peak period for device upgrades in India.
CMR data indicates that performance (89%), gaming experience (85%), and readiness for generative AI (45%) are the top factors driving consumer decisions in the premium segment.
To leverage this momentum, Qualcomm has launched a nationwide campaign, “Snapdragon Hai na”, promoting Snapdragon’s role in powering smartphones with high performance, gaming capabilities, battery efficiency, photography, and AI features.
The campaign spans television, print, OTT platforms, YouTube, digital media, and influencer activations.
CMR projects an 18% year-on-year growth in India’s premium smartphone market this festive season, positioning Snapdragon to benefit significantly from consumer upgrades.
