Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro and Galaxy Buds 4 alongside the Galaxy S26 series, positioning them as its most advanced wireless earbuds yet. The new lineup focuses on refined hi-fi audio, improved comfort, and deeper AI integration within the Galaxy ecosystem.
The headline upgrade comes in the form of enhanced sound hardware. For the first time, the Buds 4 Pro features a wider woofer design that increases the effective speaker area by nearly 20% compared to the previous generation. Combined with a dedicated tweeter, the earbuds support 24-bit/96kHz audio and deliver a frequency response range of 20Hz to 40kHz, enabling deeper bass and more detailed treble.
Samsung has also upgraded Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Adaptive EQ capabilities. The enhanced ANC is designed to filter out low-frequency background noise, such as transit or engine sounds, while maintaining balanced audio. Adaptive ANC/EQ dynamically adjusts based on wearing conditions and ear shape, applying real-time algorithms to optimise noise cancellation and sound clarity.

Call quality sees a boost as well, with Super Clear Call using super wideband technology to provide double the bandwidth of conventional Bluetooth calls.
In terms of design, Samsung says the Buds 4 series was developed using computational modelling based on extensive global ear data and simulations. The Buds 4 Pro adopts a canal-fit design for maximum immersion, while the Buds 4 features an open-fit design for greater everyday comfort.
The Buds 4 series also integrates with Galaxy AI agents, including Bixby, Google Gemini, and Perplexity for hands-free control. Buds 4 Pro adds Head Gesture controls for managing calls and interacting with AI without reaching for the phone.
The Galaxy Buds 4 series is available for pre-order starting today, with general availability from March 11 in select markets.
