As the monsoon season sweeps across India, the familiar challenge of drying clothes in humid weather returns in the form of damp garments, lingering odours and extended drying times. Samsung is positioning its latest Bespoke AI Washer Dryer range as a solution to these seasonal concerns by combining washing and drying capabilities with AI-powered automation.
The new lineup caters to different household sizes, starting with a compact all-in-one washer dryer designed for smaller homes and extending to a premium model featuring a 25kg wash and 15kg dry capacity aimed at larger families. A mid-range 12kg wash and 7kg dry variant targets everyday household needs while incorporating AI-driven fabric care through automatic drum movement and temperature adjustments.

Across the range, Samsung has integrated AI-based sensing technology that detects fabric type and load conditions to optimise water usage, temperature and wash cycles. The company claims this not only improves cleaning performance but also ensures effective drying, even during periods of high humidity. A SuperSpeed wash cycle promises to complete a wash in 39 minutes, while AI Energy Mode is said to reduce energy consumption by up to 70%, addressing both convenience and efficiency.
The washer dryers also feature built-in deodorising functions designed to eliminate the musty smell often associated with clothes dried indoors during the rainy season. SmartThings connectivity enables users to monitor and control wash cycles remotely, adding another layer of convenience for busy households.
With space increasingly at a premium in urban homes, Samsung’s all-in-one approach eliminates the need for separate washing and drying appliances. By combining AI-powered automation, energy-saving features and smart connectivity, the company is targeting consumers looking for a more streamlined laundry experience, particularly during India’s challenging monsoon months.
