BMW India has rolled out exclusive ‘50 Jahre’ Editions of the BMW 3 Series Long Wheelbase (330Li) and the BMW M340i to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic 3 Series.
Only 50 units of each model will be produced at BMW Group Plant Chennai and will be available exclusively through the BMW Online Shop.
Vikram Pawah, President and CEO of BMW Group India, said the editions pay tribute to five decades of the 3 Series, a car that defined driving pleasure and remains the best-selling premium automobile worldwide.
“It’s a celebration of the journey so far and a promise of many more thrilling chapters to come,” he noted.
BMW 330Li M Sport ‘50 Jahre’ Edition
The BMW 330Li M Sport ‘50 Jahre’ Edition is priced at Rs 64 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes in three metallic paint options, namely Mineral White, Skyscraper Grey, and M Carbon Black.
These options are paired with Vernasca Cognac Black leather upholstery.

Special details include M High-Gloss Shadowline elements, carbon fibre interior trim, head-up display, and a laser-engraved ‘1/50’ badge on the B-pillar.
Under the hood, it carries a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 258hp, capable of doing 0 to 100 kmph in 6.2 seconds.
BMW M340i ‘50 Jahre’ Edition
The BMW M340i ‘50 Jahre’ Edition, priced at Rs 76.9 lakh (ex-showroom), enhances the sporty character of India’s quickest locally-built performance car.
Offered in Dravit Grey, Black Sapphire, Fire Red Metallic, and Arctic Race Blue, it comes with Vernasca Black leather upholstery with M highlights.
Exclusive touches include ‘50 Jahre’ emblems, unique hubcaps, M performance key fob, and a special ‘1/50’ laser engraving.
Powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine producing 374hp and 500Nm, it sprints from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.4 seconds.
As a gesture, buyers of the M340i edition will also receive a 1:18 scale model of the legendary BMW 3.0 CSL, a nod to the rich heritage of the 3 Series.
