Tata Motors has announced the launch of a new variant, the Adventure X persona, for its flagship SUVs, the Tata Harrier and Tata Safari.
The new trim aims to offer buyers a feature-rich package focused on off-road capability and a more rugged design ethos, and is available starting at Rs 18.99 lakh for the Harrier Adventure X and Rs 19.99 lakh for the Safari Adventure X+.
The Adventure X persona adds several features previously seen only in higher variants, including ADAS with Adaptive Cruise Control, 360-degree HD Surround View Camera, Trail Hold EPB with Auto Hold, and Trail Response Modes.

It also includes Multi Drive Modes, Smart Trunk Operations, and a Land Rover-inspired Command Shifter.
The cabin has also been updated to reflect each model’s character.
The Harrier receives Onyx Trail black interiors with tan accents, while the Safari offers Adventure Oak interiors in a tan oak-inspired leatherette.
A 26.03 cm dual-screen infotainment and digital instrument cluster setup, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and electronically adjustable memory seats are also included.
Both SUVs are built on Tata’s OMEGARC platform, which is derived from Land Rover’s D8 architecture, and powered by the same 2.0L Kryotec diesel engine.
While no major changes have been made to the powertrain, the new persona aims to provide a more adventure-ready and visually distinct option within the current lineup.
Tata Motors has also used the opportunity to reorganise the Harrier and Safari line-ups, introducing the new Pure X persona at a lower price point and streamlining variant choices.
Prices for the updated range now start at Rs 14.99 lakh for the base Harrier Smart variant and go up to Rs 25.19 lakh for the top Safari Accomplished X+ (6-seater) trim.
The Adventure X persona joins the refreshed lineup as a mid-level option focused on visual appeal and additional capability, broadening the appeal of Tata’s high SUV offerings to a wider set of buyers looking for both city comfort and outdoor readiness.
