    Verdict

8.3 Blending style, substance, and RGB flair

The overall value proposition is where the K510 Mini Pro truly shines. Priced at Rs 5,000, it offers premium features typically reserved for pricier models. While it is a wired-only keyboard, the detachable braided cable offers some flexibility, though its length might be a bit much for portable setups. The Lenovo Legion K510 Mini Pro is a compact mechanical keyboard that punches above its weight in design, functionality, and value. With its RGB lighting, hot-swappable switches, and ergonomic layout, it caters to both aesthetics and performance. While it may not be hardcore gamers who demand perfection, it delivers a polished experience that makes it easy to recommend for most users.

    The Good
    1. Compact 75% layout
    2. Per-key RGB lighting with vibrant effects
    3. Tactile brown switches
    The Bad
    1. Low typing angle

Mechanical keyboards have evolved beyond their clunky, old-school reputation.
A large chunk of today’s gamers want compact layouts, stylish RGB lighting, and switches that feel just right under their fingers.
The Lenovo Legion K510 Mini Pro enters this space with a 75% layout aimed at gamers, writers, and productivity enthusiasts alike.

Priced competitively and packed with features, it promises a strong blend of form, function, and flair.
But how does it actually perform? Let’s find out.

    Design

The Legion K510 Mini Pro stands out immediately with its compact 75% layout, squeezing 84 keys into a smaller footprint that leaves more room for your mouse to wander in during your frantic gaming sessions.
It’s got quite an ergonomic build, and the best part is that it comes with a detachable braided USB‑C to USB‑A cable.

Someone who travels a lot will appreciate this feature a lot, given the danger of the USB port getting damaged in cases where the cable is directly connected to the keyboard.
The matte, fingerprint-resistant keycaps not only look clean but also enhance grip during extended sessions.

However, the keyboard’s low profile may divide opinion; while many may find it comfortable, some users feel the typing angle is too flat and might benefit from added wrist support.

    Aesthetics

Visually, the K510 Mini Pro is both stylish and restrained.
Translucent keycaps combined with per-key RGB lighting bring the keyboard to life, offering over 16.8 million colours and numerous lighting presets.

The black matte chassis with subtle glossy accents strikes a balance between professional and playful.
There’s no question of not liking its aesthetics.
They make the Lenovo Legion K510 Mini Pro a beautiful addition to any desk setup.

    Performance

When it comes to performance, the keyboard is equipped with tactile brown mechanical switches rated for around 50 million keystrokes.
They offer satisfying feedback while staying relatively quiet, which marks a sweet spot for both gamers and heavy typers.

The inclusion of arrow keys and a full function row makes the 75% layout more versatile than smaller 60% options. NKRO and anti-ghosting ensure reliable input, no matter how intense the action gets.
Additional Fn-layered shortcuts give access to media controls, brightness adjustments, game mode toggles, Microsoft Dynamic Lighting, and even a dedicated Copilot key.
