The instant cameras have made a big comeback in recent years, and when a company offers these cameras with digital image technology, what more could one wish for? The popular Instant camera maker Fujifilm recently unveiled a retro-themed Instax Mini Evo digital camera, which features 10 integrated lens modes and 10 filter options to offer 100 different photo combinations.

The camera has been designed with a premium touch, and it boasts a classic analogue-style look with top-mounted dials and a print control function, which work as a printer, allowing you to print out pictures from your smartphone wirelessly. The Mini Evo camera has an LCD display like other hybrid Instax cameras to help you frame the end result before printing.

The Mini Evo camera has a 1/5-inch CMOS with a primary colour filter, and it features 10 different lens modes: Vignette, Soft Focus, Blue, Fisheye, Colour Shift, Light Leak, etc., along with 10 filter options such as Vivid, Pale, Canvas, Monochrome, Sepia, Yellow, and more. The camera also allows users to save a printed picture taken by the camera on the smartphone by using the Instax Mini Evo Smartphone app.

The Fujifilm camera features a 28mm f/2 lens and a three-inch rear LCD screen to select images, add frames, edit, print, and adjust settings. The camera has internal storage where it can store approximately 45 shots, and besides the internal storage, users can store about 850 images clicked by the Mini Evo camera in a 1GB MicroSD/MicroSDHC memory card.

The shutter speed of the Mini Evo camera ranges from 1/4 second to 1/8000 second (automatic switching), and the ISO ranges from 100 to 1600. The lightweight camera is priced at $199.95 (approx. Rs15,000) and will be available for purchase in Japan from 3rd December. The company will launch the camera in the US in the next year, followed by other countries.
