    Over All Rating 4/5

    Price Starts From  ₹ 11,499/-

    PROS 👍

    • Smooth performance with Dimensity 7300 Ultimate.
    • 120Hz display enhances everyday usage.
    • Impressive 5,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
    • Durable build with IP64 and MIL-STD-810H rating.
    • Solid primary 50MP camera for daylight shots.

    CONS 👎

    • HD+ display lacks AMOLED vibrancy.
    • No ultra-wide or macro lens.
    • Selfie camera quality is average.
    • Pre-installed bloatware in XOS.
    • No microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Finding the right balance between affordability and functionality can be a challenge when shopping for smartphones. But with budget phones evolving rapidly, options like the Infinix Note 50x make it easier for consumers to access modern features without breaking the bank.

Launched at a starting price of ₹11,499, the Infinix Note 50x aims to be one of the best phones under ₹12,000. With a blend of premium design, reliable performance, long battery life, and a decent camera setup, it’s positioned to compete with other entry-level giants like Redmi Note, Realme Narzo, and Samsung Galaxy F series. But does it live up to the hype? Here’s a detailed Infinix Note 50x review to help you decide.

Build and Design: Premium Aesthetics on a Budget

With a dual-textured back and IP64/MIL-STD-810H rating, the Note 50x doesn’t just feel good — it’s built to last.

The Infinix Note 50x surprises with its premium look and feel. The Titanium Grey variant features a dual-texture finish — matte and glossy — giving the phone a stylish edge that’s uncommon in this price range.

    • Flat rear panel and matte-finished frames provide a modern look.

    • The power button doubles as a fast fingerprint scanner for quick access.

    • Hybrid SIM slot on the left and USB-C port with stereo speakers (top + bottom) add to the practicality.

    • 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling and visuals.

    • Despite visible bezels and a slightly thick chin, it delivers a good viewing experience.

    • A punch-hole selfie camera and an adjustable front flash enhance selfie performance in low light.

    For durability, the phone boasts:

    • IP64 rating (dust and splash resistance)

    • MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification

    • Comes with a protective case in the box, which is a great bonus for budget users.

Performance: Powered by Dimensity 7300 Ultimate

Dimensity 7300 = Budget Gaming Champ

Under the hood, the Infinix Note 50x is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset, making it one of the best budget gaming phones in its price range.

    • Comes with 6GB RAM (expandable up to 12GB via virtual RAM).

    • Offers 128GB internal storage, though no microSD card slot is a downside.

    Benchmark Scores:

    • Geekbench 6 Single-Core: 1014

    • Geekbench 6 Multi-Core: 2,893
These scores outperform other phones with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, making it ideal for multitasking.

Geekbench 6 scores beat Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 rivals

    Real-world usage:

    • Smooth operation for social media, browsing, and daily tasks.

    • XOS 15.0.3 based on Android 15 is lightweight but comes with some pre-installed apps (bloatware).

    Gaming:

    • Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) runs well at Smooth + Extreme settings.

    • Call of Duty: Mobile and Free Fire run at high settings.

    • Thermal performance is stable, with minimal heating after extended gaming sessions.

    Battery

Battery life is a critical factor for budget phone buyers, and the Infinix Note 50x excels here with its 5,500mAh battery. It supports 45W fast charging and the Power adaptor is included inside the box.

In practical testing, the phone lasts 1.5 days with moderate use, like web browsing, social media, and video streaming. For a more intensive test, I watched a 4K video for 30 minutes. Starting at a 100% charge, the battery dropped to 92% by the end, resulting in a drain of just 8%. This is an excellent result, considering the power demands of 4K. Screen-on time averaged 5-6 hours under heavy usage, aligning with Infinix’s claims.

The charging capabilities of the Note 50x are impressive. With the included 45W adapter, the phone charges from 20% to 70% in about 30 minutes.

    Camera: Solid for Daylight Photography

Infinix Note 50x capturing daylight, low-light, and portrait shots with its 50MP rear camera
50MP clarity that won’t disappoint Daylight shots shine with natural tones. Low light? Surprisingly solid. Missing wide and macro, but for daily clicks — it’s a winner!

The Infinix Note 50x features a 50MP primary sensor (f/1.6) and an AI Lens (essentially a depth sensor). The octagonal “Gem-Cut” camera island, inspired by emeralds, also houses an LED flash and Active Halo Lighting, which glows for notifications and during photo countdowns, a fun and functional touch. The front camera is an 8MP sensor and adjustable flash.

The 50MP primary camera performs admirably in daylight, delivering sharp images with natural colours and decent dynamic range. White balance is well-handled, and skin tones in portraits are decent, though edge detection can be hit-or-miss in complex backgrounds. Low-light shots are surprisingly good for the price, with the night mode brightening scenes without excessive noise, though details soften compared to daylight shots. The lack of an ultra-wide or macro lens is noticeable, limiting creative options, but the primary camera holds its own for everyday photography.

The 8MP selfie camera is solid in good lighting, capturing average shots with minimal over-processing, though a subtle beauty filter is applied by default (which some may dislike). The front flash helps in low light, but the results are average. Video recording is a highlight, the rear camera supports 4K at 30 FPS, producing crisp footage with good detail under proper lighting, while the front camera tops out at 1080p at 30 FPS.

Whether you’re a student, casual gamer, or looking for a secondary phone, this device offers excellent value with minimal compromises. It proves that you don’t need to spend a fortune to get a reliable, feature-packed smartphone in 2025.
