For its price, the Poco M7 Plus feels like a very well-rounded device, especially if you’re someone who falls into the semi-heavy usage category. It provides smooth performance, a large and bright display, reliable cameras for casual use, and, most importantly, a battery that feels virtually endless. Add to that the 18W reverse charging, and it becomes more than just a smartphone, it’s also your backup power bank.
If you’re considering alternatives, you could also look at Redmi Note 15, Realme Narzo 70 Pro, or iQOO Z10x, all of which sit in a similar price range and bring their own strengths. However, if you're looking for a futuristic design with exceptional battery life, the Poco M7 Plus makes a compelling case for itself.

Value For Money
When I first unboxed the Poco M7 Plus, I was instantly drawn to its design. The Chrome Silver finish looks fancy and futuristic, giving it a premium look that you usually don’t expect at this price point. It reflects light beautifully, and while it does attract a few fingerprints, the overall style makes up for it. Thankfully, Poco includes a protective case in the box, which is something I always appreciate. It saves me from buying one right away and also gives the phone a better grip.
Build & Comfort
The phone feels solid in the hand, with a slight heft that makes it feel sturdy and well-built. It’s not the most compact device out there, but that bigger frame actually makes sense when you use it for watching content or gaming. One-handed usage can be tricky, but for me, the comfort of holding it and the premium feel outweigh that minor inconvenience.
Display & Multimedia
The large display is easily one of my favourite parts of this phone. It makes scrolling, streaming, and even reading a really enjoyable experience. The brightness holds up outdoors, and colours look vibrant without being too oversaturated. I also noticed that watching movies on it feels immersive, especially with the stereo speakers, which deliver surprisingly good sound for the price.
Performance & Usage
With 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, the Poco M7 Plus feels responsive and smooth in daily use. Switching between apps was quick, and even when I had multiple apps open, it didn’t slow down. For gaming, it handled casual titles effortlessly, and even heavier games ran fine with manageable performance.
Geekbench Score: 823 Single Core, 2242 Multi Core Score
For semi-heavy users who use their phone for social media, content, gaming, and work apps, it strikes a good balance of performance and efficiency without feeling overpriced.

Battery Life
This is where the Poco M7 Plus really flexes. The massive 7000 mAh battery is easily one of the biggest highlights of this device. On a full charge, I could go almost two days with moderate use, and even on heavy usage days, I never had to worry about scrambling for a charger.
What makes it even better is the 18W reverse charging feature, something I wasn’t expecting in this range. I was able to use it as a power bank to top up my earbuds and even another phone, which honestly makes it super practical when I’m out. Combined with fast charging, it’s one of the most reliable battery setups I’ve used in a while. I’ve also received the 33W Fast Charger, which makes it even better and easier for me.
Cameras
The cameras on the Poco M7 Plus are suitable for casual use, and it also has an AI feature. In daylight, shots come out crisp and colourful, with pretty good details. Selfies are clear only when the light is proper, and video calls look decent too with good lighting. However, in low light, the performance drops slightly, and photos can become grainy. While the night mode helps, it’s not as effective as I’d like. Still, for the price, the camera system holds up well enough. In my opinion, this is just a decent camera phone, like you can’t expect a proper camera phone type experience.
