As a huge F1 fan, the moment I saw the Realme GT 8 Pro Dream Edition in the Aston Martin theme, I knew I had to get my hands on it. And yes, I ironically support Red Bull, but that didn’t stop me from appreciating how stunning this phone looks. The racing-inspired aesthetic instantly reminded me of the adrenaline of race weekends. Even though it carries Aston Martin DNA, the design felt too good to ignore.

    Build and Design

The first thing that struck me was the finish on the back. The racing green with its metallic shift looks incredibly premium, almost like holding a scaled-down piece of an F1 car. The lines, the curves, and the detailing give it a proper motorsport identity. It feels like the kind of device any F1 lover would flex without hesitation.

The overall build feels solid and well-balanced in hand. It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at any point. The unique outer design is honestly my favourite part. It stands out without trying too hard. The only part that threw me off a little was the in-device design. The UI elements and racing animations didn’t match the premium look of the outer body for me. But visually, as an object, the phone is a beauty. I genuinely enjoy looking at it every time it’s on my table.

    Performance

Using this phone daily has been smooth and satisfying. It handles everything effortlessly, whether it’s switching between apps, scrolling for hours, or playing games. The display makes the experience feel fast and responsive. Even with heavy usage, the phone stays steady without unnecessary heating.

The chipset definitely shines when multitasking or gaming. I don’t feel any slowdown, and the animations stay fluid. Overall, performance is one area where the phone never disappoints.

    Camera

The camera on this phone, with the RICOH GR and normal mode, is genuinely impressive. It captures sharp, detailed images across different lighting conditions. The colours look natural, and the dynamic range is strong enough to keep shots balanced without looking artificial. The telephoto lens also adds a lot of flexibility and helps get creative angles. In the video, it is a decent use, but I prefer this phone for photographs. It also has this very cool thing where we can change the camera part, and it comes with a screwdriver in the box, and we can change the camera into a different look as well on the back.

The front camera produces clean selfies without unnecessary smoothing, which I really appreciate. Overall, the camera system feels reliable and fun to use. It’s easily one of the best parts of the phone.

    Battery

The battery life has been dependable. It lasts long enough for a full day of my normal usage without forcing me to reach for the charger too often. And even when it does run low, the fast charging gets it back up quickly. I never feel like I have to plan my day around the battery, which is a relief.

    Verdict

This phone feels like a proper tribute to motorsport aesthetics. The Aston Martin Dream Edition design is gorgeous, even for someone who supports Red Bull. The outer build genuinely feels premium and unique, and though the internal UI design didn’t completely land for me, it doesn’t detract from how good the device looks and performs.

The camera is genuinely excellent, the performance is incredibly smooth, and  the battery is dependable. Overall, it’s a phone that looks like a statement piece but also performs like a reliable flagship. For someone who loves F1 and also cares about style and daily usability, this device feels like a great pick.
