Ex : How did your content creation journey kick start?
It all started in 2015 while working behind the camera as a DOP. I was shooting Karan’s (@focusedindian) video & he wanted me to act in one of his videos. Slowly and steadily, acting started growing on me, and from there, I began my actual journey as a content creator.
Ex : What is your most viral reel/short? How did the idea come, and how long did it take to shoot?
This is my most viral reel, and I fondly call it “The Fishwaali Reel”. It was a genuine incident that happened to me, so I further developed it into an idea for a video. It took roughly 20-30 minutes to shoot this video.

Ex : What piece of tech is your favourite.
I am a very tech-savvy guy, always looking for devices and gadgets that make my life easy. My favourite one is my iPad; it’s a bridging device between my phone & my laptop. I use it for doodling, noting down ideas, playing games, and consuming OTT content when I am travelling.
Ex : Assuming Instagram is shutting down in 24 hours, what will you do?
I hope this always stays a hypothetical situation, but if it does happen and if I am actually notified beforehand, I’d check my database and see if I have all the work that I’ve uploaded backed up and if not, I’d download whatever I don’t have & save it.
Ex : Do you have an industry mentor?
Honestly, I don’t have any specific mentors, but I look up to Johnny Lever and Govinda’s comic timing, and their expressions inspire me a lot.

I am really proud of my upcoming web series and the role I played.

Ex : Can you describe a BTS / blooper that happened during a shoot but didn’t make it into the final content piece?
When I shoot a particular video, it’s always very well scripted and shot accordingly so that the content I shoot doesn’t get scrapped & make sure it’s uploaded accordingly.
Ex : What’s the first-ever trend that you hopped on?
So we created a dance video with Raghav’s song (Teri Baaton Mai); because of this video, we got the audio trending on Instagram. So far, 912k reels have been made using that audio.
Ex : What will the creator landscape look like in 10 years from now?
According to me, if the consistency of your content is maintained efficiently, then as a creator, you will grow exponentially; there’s no doubt about that.
Ex : What are the platforms you are active on – how do you decide what goes where?
Currently, I am posting short content that is reel on Instagram, and when it comes to long-format content, I upload weekly Vlogs on YouTube.
Ex : What’s the next big thing in the pipeline for you?
I have a web series to be released soon. I have also acted in a Marathi film, which is expected to be released soon. I am also planning a web series produced under my own production house.

As mentioned above, the web series under my own production house is my dream project now.

Keep creating unique and original content; consistently uploading your content is the key.
