    1. What’s your leadership mantra in the fast-evolving tech landscape

I strongly believe in the company’s vision to fill the world with emotion and committed to bringing it to life. By building a culture of trust, collaboration and accountability, I believe in empowering my team to execute with innovation and impact. Open communication, continuous learning and agile decision-making keep us aligned to our goals, while our focus remains firmly on delivering exceptional value to our customers.

    2. How do you inspire and motivate your team during a challenging time?

I like to lead by example, demonstrating resilience, determination and a solution-oriented mindset to inspire my team. By working alongside them through challenges, I show that even the most difficult situations can be overcome with perseverance, adaptability and teamwork. My goal is to instill confidence, foster a growth mindset and prove that obstacles are opportunities for growth not roadblocks.

    3. In an era of AI and automation, how do you see the role of human leadership evolving?

In an AI-driven world, emotional intelligence is our true edge. Technology may deliver speed and precision, but it cannot replicate empathy, intuition or trust. These human qualities help us build deeper connections, turn challenges into opportunities, and create lasting impact not just through what we do, but how we make people feel.

    4. Tell us about a major screw-up in your career—what went wrong and what did you learn?

In 2018–19, we faced a setback in India by missing a key market shift toward high-end televisions. While consumers moved to larger screens, 4K and smart features, we somehow stayed focused on affordable segment, which left us vulnerable and took a toll on our bottom line. However, we responded quickly by shifting gears towards premium strategy by launching new models especially in large screen segment with value-added services. It helped us regain market share & profitability and repositioned us as a leader in the premium televisions segment. This taught us the value of agile strategy and timely market sensing.

    5. What’s a mistake you see many young tech entrepreneurs making?

One of the common pitfalls for any company is becoming too inward-looking and focusing more on internal ideas than on evolving customer needs. When we assume our excitement will mirror the market sentiment or we rely solely on product features without customer validation, we risk losing relevance. True success lies in combining innovation with deep customer understanding, insights, feedback and trends that shape what we build and how we grow.

    6. How do you handle failure, and how do you encourage a failure-friendly environment?

Failure, in many ways, is a good thing—it teaches you what not to do. Every misstep offers valuable insight, helping refine your approach. But the real key lies in not repeating the same mistake. That’s where growth happens – in learning, adapting and moving forward with greater clarity and resilience.

    7. What’s the next big disruption you foresee in the tech industry?

AI and automation are evolving at an incredible pace, and I believe we’re only beginning to see their full potential. As these technologies mature, they will continue to transform how businesses engage with customers enabling more personalized, seamless and intuitive experiences. The challenge and opportunity lie in blending this innovation with a human touch to create truly meaningful connections.

    8. How do you unplug from the tech world? Or do you? Any non-negotiable habits?

For me, staying healthy is non-negotiable. I make it a point to engage in sports and adventure activities—they keep both my body and mind energized. There’s something about that adrenaline rush that sharpens focus, builds resilience, and adds a sense of balance amid a demanding schedule. It’s not just fitness, it’s a way to recharge and stay at the top of my game.

    9. What books that changed your perspective on leadership & Technology

The most recent one I read is Mindset: The New Psychology of Success by Carol Dweck, an interesting book that explores how our mindset influences the way we learn, lead and grow. It’s a fascinating take on the difference between a growth and fixed mindset, and how shifting our perspective can unlock our full potential.

    10. Podcasts and inspiring quotes that you want to recommend to our readers

The Dare to Lead podcast by Brené Brown is deeply inspiring and packed with powerful conversations on courage, vulnerability and leadership. It’s a must-listen for anyone looking to grow as a leader and lead with authenticity. One of the most inspiring quotes I have come across is from Mr. Ratan Tata which is ‘The biggest risk is not taking any risk. In a world that is changing quickly, the only strategy that is bound to fail is not taking risks.’
