The underside of the capsule has pins for charging the 125mAh battery in the band. There are sensors for heart rate and SpO2 tracking just right above the charging pins. Since all navigation in the MI Band 6 is touch-based, there are no physical buttons on the band.

The Mi Band 6 is water-resistant up to 5ATM, and can therefore also track swimming. The battery on the Mi Band 6 claims to provide 14 days backup in a single charge.  The Mi Band 6 allows quick replies to calls with preset messages. The company also claims that this wearable has 30 different fitness modes and can automatically detect six types of workouts. You can track steps, distance, and sleep on the Mi Smart Band 6 along with SpO2 and stress tracking, as well as menstrual cycle tracking.

Mi Smart Band 6 can last for between 8-10 days with reasonable use, so it is still a good fitness wearable for the price.

Whatsapp’s message reporting has been under scrutiny lately after an investigation revealed a possible breach of privacy earlier this month.

The Facebook-owned company has now decided to roll out a new, effortless method to help users report messages. The latest WhatsApp beta version for Android allows single, specific messages to be reported to WhatsApp without any complicated process. 

The current contact reporting system sends the message that is reported alongside the previous four messages to WhatsApp. The additional messages give context for the company to decide whether they should be banning the contact. 

The new feature allows the users to highlight a single message, whether from an individual chat, a group chat, or a business account.

Anyone running the latest Whatsapp version will get a new drop-down option on the top left when they select a specific message. Tapping that option will open a dialogue box for you to blog the offending account. 

It is still not clear when WhatsApp will launch this feature, but it can be rolling out to everyone in the coming weeks or even days, given its existing reporting mechanism’s criticism. The fact that the feature is already functional in the beta build indicates that the feature could be ready for a much wider release.

Facebook’s New Head of Hardware Division

Apple is already working with the University of California to study stress and anxiety among humans, for which 3000 people volunteered. The core and key technology that will run behind these projects is facial recognition. It is for sure that UCLA has somewhere assessed the facial expression of the volunteers. Accordingly, they will store the same data in their database as the train data. This data will allow the system to understand the current notion of the person). So, when the CV (computer vision) will read your face, it will compare the same with the index number. By that comparison, it will tell you your current mental health profile.

The sportier i20 N Line stands apart from the regular i20 with some light performance upgrades to areas like the brakes and suspension.

Engine

The all-new i20 N Line is going to be one of the most fun-to-drive cars in India with its 120hp, 172Nm, 1.0-litre Turbo GDi Petrol engine. The engine arrives with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) or a 6-Speed intelligent manual transmission (iMT). It may sound normal as the i20 N Line has the same engine we have heeded on the regular i20, but according to Hyundai, the i20 N Line can deliver 0–100 Kmph acceleration in just 9.9 seconds. Well, that sounds like a premium.

Variants

The company is offering a new i20 N Line in two variants, N6 and N8. Both the N Line trims come with a stiffer suspension, paddle shifters, rear disc brakes and has been claimed to have a fuel efficiency of 20 kmpl. The sportier car is available for sale in four monotone paint options, Thunder Blue, Fiery Red, Titan Grey, and Polar White and two dual-tone paint options, Thunder blue with Phantom black roof and Fiery red with Phantom black roof.

Exterior

Hyundai has worked really hard on the new segment and that’s why they are advertising it boldly as a performance-oriented car. The new i20 N Line is all about styling and showing sportiness along with ample enhancements. The car has a sportier dual-tone bumper with red inserts. The front bumper of the i20 N Line features a revised all-black grille with a Chequered Flag inspired design that displays the N Line logo. 

In profile, the car gets 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with an N Logo that sets the car apart from the regular i20. The sportier car also features a side sill garnish with red front brake callipers. On the rear side, the car gets a newly designed bumper along with a roof spoiler with side wings finished in black. It gets a triangular rear fog lamp and the N Line emblem on the tailgate.

Interior

On the inside, the i20 N Line gets black interiors with athletic red inserts and Chequered Flag design leatherette seats with N Logo, sporty metal pedals, red interior highlights embedded with the ‘N Line’ branding on the air vents, door handles and gear lever, red ambient lights, a bespoke 3-spoke steering wheel and an N-branded iMT/DCT gear knob. The overall dashboard layout is very identical to the standard car, but all these things make the i20 N Line a little different from the regular i20.

Features

The original i20 already comes loaded with a lot of features and apart from those, the new i20 N Line gets an extra Sports Mode button and a sportier instrument cluster. The car also gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, a single-pane sunroof, air purifier, connected car technology and a 7-speaker Bose sound system. The car additionally gets new voice recognition functions along with an updated Bluelink app, and for safety, it offers 6 airbags. Overall, the N Line gets only cosmetic changes and doesn’t get engineering alterations of the proper N series, which might piss some of the buyers.

Final Verdict

The hot hatch starts at a price of ₹9.84 lakh (ex-showroom) and stretches all the way to ₹11.75 lakh (ex-showroom). If you’re looking for a sportier-looking car with a few mechanical upgrades to the suspension and steering, better-appointed interiors and better safety, then, of course, go for i20 N Line; it is one of the best premium hatchbacks available in the market.

Xiaomi Launching Redmi TV Today As Part of Make In India Efforts

Xiaomi is all set to roll out a new Redmi TV in India today afternoon. The electronics-manufacturing company entered the smart TV business a few years ago with the MI branded televisions and expanded the Redmi TV series earlier this year. The company aims to produce more affordable smart TVs just like it produces affordable smartphones. 

The new Redmi TV will come in two different screen sizes; 32-inch and 43-inch. The new Redmi TV will be launched during an online event. The launch event will start at 12 noon. The live stream of the Redmi TV launch will be available on Xiaomi’s official YouTube channel, social media handles and website. 

The exact features and price will be revealed during the event, but what we know for now is that the TV will have 20W speakers and support for Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual: X for surround sound. 

Xiaomi has also confirmed that the new Redmi TV will feature Android TV 11 out of the box. It will further be complemented by Xiaomi’s own PatchWall on top. The operating system also includes IMDb integration which allows viewers to check the ratings of movies and shows directly from the content page.

Other features include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, auto low latency mode and much more. The display will use the Vivid Picture Engine. The TV comes as part of Xiaomi’s Make in India efforts. 

It is expected that the 32-inch variant may cost even less than Rs 20,000. To recall, the Redmi Smart TV X Series was launched in March this year in three sizes. The price for the 50-inch variant was Rs 32,999, Rs 38,999 for the 65-inch variant, and Rs 57,999 for the top-end 65-inch variant.
