Amazfit has announced its latest smartwatch, the Amazfit BIP 6, in India. The smartwatch will be available starting May 16, 2025, and marks a big advancement in the popular BIP series, which is known for its excellent value in the affordable smartwatch sector. The Amazfit BIP 6 boasts a 1.97-inch AMOLED display with a brightness of 2000 nits, making it the only smartwatch in the ₹7,999 price range with such high-level outdoor visibility. This feature is designed to improve readability under bright sunlight, addressing a frequent concern among smartwatch users in India. CP Khandelwal, CEO of PR Innovations and Brand Custodian for Amazfit India, commented on the launch: "The Indian smartwatch market has evolved rapidly, with consumers now demanding premium features without the premium price tag. The BIP 6 signifies our commitment to this vision with its segment-first 2000 nits display at the ₹7,999 price point. This isn't just an upgrade it's a complete reimagining of what’s possible in the entry-level segment, bringing advanced technology to everyday users across India." Available in four color options: Black, Charcoal, Stone, and Red. The Amazfit BIP 6 is set to retail at ₹7,999 and will be available from May 16, 2025, via Amazfit's official website, Amazon India, and various selected retail partners throughout the country.
