This year’s event was packed with exciting reveals, from solar-powered devices to ultra-slim designs and modular systems. Below, we dive into the best gadgets and technologies that stole the show at MWC 2025. Smartphones Infinix Solar Phone One of the standout innovations at MWC 2025 was the Infinix Solar Phone, which integrates solar charging technology. Using advanced perovskite solar cells, this phone can charge itself using sunlight, making it a potential game-changer for users in regions with limited access to electricity. The solar technology is thinner and more cost-effective than traditional silicon-based cells, marking a significant step forward in sustainable mobile devices. Tecno Spark Slim The Tecno Spark Slim caught attention with its ultra-slim design, emphasizing portability and style. Its sleek form factor suggests a focus on aesthetics and ease of use, likely appealing to users who prioritize a lightweight, fashionable device. It’s expected to include features tailored for social media and photography, making it a strong contender in the budget-friendly segment. Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2 As Tecno’s flagship offering, the Phantom Ultimate 2 is designed to deliver top-tier performance. Equipped with a powerful processor, a high-quality camera system, and a large, vibrant display, this device aims to compete with other premium smartphones. Its sleek design and advanced features make it a noteworthy addition to the high-end market. Likely featuring an advanced camera system with AI-powered enhancements, this phone is designed for photography enthusiasts and power users. Its high-performance hardware ensures it can handle demanding tasks with ease. Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge The Galaxy S25 Edge aims to showcase Samsung's ability to create a thin phone without sacrificing high-end specs. While official details are scarce, the design appears unremarkable, featuring just a large screen and two rear cameras. It seems to be as thin as the Tecno Spark Slim but offers an extra camera, appealing to users who prefer more versatility in photography. Nothing Phone 3 series Nothing showcased its Phone 3a and 3a Pro at MWC, bringing big upgrades over last year’s 2a series. With a more powerful chipset, new camera systems featuring the brand’s first-ever telephoto sensor, and the innovative Essential Space paired with a dedicated hardware key, these phones push Nothing’s vision forward. Realme Ultra Concept Phone Realme’s Ultra Concept Phone offers a peek into the future with its experimental design. Still in the concept phase, it likely showcases futuristic features such as innovative materials or unique form factors. Concept phones like this often hint at what’s to come in mainstream devices, making it one of the most intriguing reveals at MWC 2025. Wearables Honor Watch 5 Ultra The Honor Watch 5 Ultra is a smartwatch tailored for health and fitness enthusiasts. It also boasts long battery life and is expected to offer advanced health tracking features, including new sensors for more accurate data collection. Its sleek design and robust functionality make it a strong competitor in the premium smartwatch market. HMD Amped Buds These wireless earbuds from HMD focus on delivering high-quality audio, likely with features such as active noise cancellation. Designed for audiophiles and casual listeners alike, the Amped Buds aim to provide an immersive sound experience in a compact, portable form. Tablets Honor Pad V9 The Honor Pad V9 is a versatile tablet with a high-resolution display and powerful performance. It is ideal for multitasking and likely supports stylus input, making it a great choice for both productivity and entertainment. Its sleek design and robust features position it as a strong contender in the tablet market. Laptops Lenovo Yoga Solar PC Concept Lenovo’s Yoga Solar PC Concept introduces solar charging capabilities to laptops, making it a revolutionary device for users who need power on the go. This concept is particularly useful for outdoor use or in areas with limited access to electricity, showcasing Lenovo’s commitment to sustainability and innovation. This innovative form factor offers a new way to interact with laptops, combining convenience with cutting-edge technology. While still a concept, it hints at the future of portable computing. Other Innovative Technologies Infinix E-Color Shift 2.0 Infinix’s E-Color Shift 2.0 technology allows a phone’s colour to change based on user preferences or environmental factors. This unique feature adds a personalized, aesthetic element to the device, setting it apart from traditional smartphones. It’s a small but impactful innovation that could influence future design trends. Xiaomi Modular Optical System Concept Xiaomi’s Modular Optical System Concept introduces a modular smartphone camera system, allowing users to swap out lenses or sensors for a customized photography experience.
