Truke has officially launched the Resonance X, a open-wear sound (OWS) device designed for comfort and prolonged use. The product, which is developed and manufactured in India, combines premium aesthetics with a compact design and claims to deliver immersive sound performance. The Resonance X is set to retail for INR 1,699 on popular e-commerce platforms Amazon and Flipkart starting December 12. However, consumers can purchase the device at a special launch day price with an additional discount of INR 500 directly from Truke's website. The OWS category has seen substantial growth as more consumers opt for ear-health-friendly audio solutions, with global adoption rates increasing by over 30% year-on-year. Truke aims to capitalize on this trend with the Resonance X, which highlights spacious sound, premium design, and comfort at an accessible price point. Pankaj Upadhyay, Founder and CEO of Truke, highlighted the shift in the Indian audio market towards devices that prioritize comfort. "Consumers are increasingly seeking comfort-focused devices that they can wear all day without ear fatigue, and Resonance X is our answer to this evolving need," he said. The Resonance X features a glossy finish and an ultra-compact build, available in Black and Blue color options. Its open-ear design promotes extended use without discomfort, making it suitable for various activities, including work, entertainment, travel, workouts, and casual listening. Despite its smaller size, the device is equipped with 16mm titanium drivers, which provide rich bass, enhanced clarity, and a balanced sound ideal for music, calls, and gaming. Additionally, it boasts 24-bit spatial audio capabilities for an immersive experience and offers up to 70 hours of total playtime with the charging case, supported by a 400mAh battery. The device also features dual-pairing, allowing users to switch seamlessly between a laptop and smartphone, along with a low-latency gaming mode of 40ms to ensure synchronized audio and visual output for gamers and content consumers.
