Nike’s After Dark Tour is set to return to Mumbai on 12 December 2026. The event features a women-only 10K race that forms part of the brand’s global series spanning seven cities.
The Mumbai race is designed for women runners of varying backgrounds and abilities. It centres on an evening experience that combines running with elements of sport, culture and community. Participants will race a road course after sunset, with the event framed as a nighttime gathering rather than a conventional daytime race.
Registration opens at 10:00 am IST on 24 August 2026 via the official website (afterdarktour.nike.com/mumbai). Organisers have indicated that places are limited and are expected to fill quickly once entries begin. The entry fee is INR 2,500 (inclusive of taxes). Registered participants who complete the race within the two-hour limit receive a race bib, Nike T-shirt, Nike sports bra, finisher medal and access to a post-race concert. Eligibility is restricted to women aged 18 or older on race day.
The 2026 After Dark Tour operates across London, Los Angeles, Manila, Mexico City, Mumbai, Shanghai and Sydney. Race distances vary by city, with 10K events in some locations and half marathons in others. Mumbai’s leg continues the format introduced in the inaugural 2025 edition, which drew more than 50,000 participants worldwide, including nearly 3,500 in India.
Beyond race day itself, the Mumbai programme includes guided training sessions led by Nike Running Coaches and pre-race community activities. These are intended to support preparation, build familiarity with training routines and foster connections among participants. Nike Run Club training resources are also available to help runners prepare for the 10K distance.
The event builds on Nike’s earlier women’s race series held between 2005 and 2015 and the 2025 After Dark Tour. In India, a notable portion of 2025 participants were first-time racers. Partners for the Mumbai edition include recovery, beauty and hydration brands, though full details of on-course and expo arrangements will be confirmed closer to the date.
The venue remains to be announced. Road closures and traffic impacts are anticipated around the start, finish and course.
