Audio-Technica has announced the launch of its latest and most exciting product, the AT-LP70X Fully Automatic Belt-Drive Turntable, in the Indian market. Designed for new audiophiles, the AT-LP70X merges user-friendly features with high-quality audio performance, making it an ideal entry-level turntable for vinyl lovers.

The AT-LP70X represents the joy of vinyl listening, allowing users to experience the nostalgia of browsing through records and enjoying the warm, rich sound that vinyl offers. This turntable accommodates both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records. It includes a built-in switchable phono preamp, facilitating effortless connections to home audio systems, powered speakers, or other components, regardless of having a dedicated phono input.

At the heart of the AT-LP70X is the AT-VM95C phono cartridge, acclaimed for its exceptional audio fidelity. Featuring a 0.6 mil conical stylus, this cartridge, designed with Audio-Technica’s expertise, delivers remarkable tonal quality with superb channel separation and minimal distortion. Integrated into the turntable’s J-shaped tonearm, it enhances the listening experience. Additionally, enthusiasts can customize their setup by upgrading with any stylus from Audio-Technica’s VM95 Series, offering elliptical, micro linear, and Shibata options.

To enhance sound quality, the AT-LP70X features a three-piece anti-resonance chassis that significantly reduces unwanted vibrations and noise, ensuring a cleaner audio experience. The turntable also has an AC adapter that separates AC/DC conversion from the chassis, minimizing potential signal interference.

Convenience is a key aspect of the AT-LP70X. The turntable has a detachable RCA cable, an optional 45 RPM adapter, and a removable hinged dust cover for added protection. The J-shaped tonearm requires no extensive setup, making the operation straightforward. Users can simply select their preferred speed, press the Start/Stop buttons, or utilize the tonearm lift lever to play individual tracks.

    Key Features of the AT-LP70X:

    • Fully automatic operation with two-speed settings: 33-1/3 and 45 RPM
    • Fixed-body AT-VM95C Integral Dual Moving Magnet™ phono cartridge, compatible with any VM95 Series replacement stylus
    • Stylish three-piece chassis design to minimize resonance and enhance sound quality
    • J-shaped tonearm engineered for reduced tracking errors and improved sound precision
    • Tonearm lock to safeguard the stylus
    • Built-in switchable phono/line preamplifier
    • Anti-resonance die-cast aluminium platter with a felt mat
    • AC adapter for external AC/DC conversion to reduce noise
    • Includes detachable RCA output cable, 45 RPM adapter, and a removable hinged dust cover
    • Available in Black/Gray

The AT-LP70X is priced at ₹40,197 (MRP) and ₹29,990 (MOP) and will be available on Amazon and through Audio-Technica’s distribution network throughout India.
