CMF, the vibrant sub-brand of Nothing, is about to drop its first-ever smartphone – the CMF Phone 1 – on July 8. The announcement, made via a social media post on Tuesday, has tech enthusiasts buzzing with excitement. The upcoming Community Update event on July 8 will also see the debut of two other fantastic gadgets – the CMF Buds Pro 2 and the CMF Watch Pro 2, completing the trio in CMF’s brand-new ecosystem.

According to an X (formerly Twitter) post from CMF’s official account, the much-anticipated launch will take place on July 8 at 2:30 pm IST. This thrilling development follows closely on the heels of some tantalising leaks. While specific details remain under wraps, Nothing has teased a shared design feature across all three devices – a sleek rotating dial, adding a touch of elegance and functionality to the lineup.

CMF Phone 1 – Rumoured Specs

Rumours are already swirling about the CMF Phone 1’s specs. It’s speculated to boast a stunning 6.7-inch OLED display with a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Photography enthusiasts can look forward to a dual 50-megapixel camera system on the back and a 50-megapixel front-facing camera for those crystal-clear selfies.

    CMF Phone 1

Under the hood, the CMF Phone 1 is rumoured to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, an octa-core chipset with four cores clocked at 2.5GHz and another four at 2.0GHz. Storage options might include 128GB and 256GB variants, both featuring UFS 2.2 technology for faster performance. The device is also tipped to pack a hefty 5,000mAh battery with support for up to 33W wired fast charging.

As the countdown to July 8 continues, the anticipation is palpable. CMF’s inaugural phone, along with the Buds Pro 2 and Watch Pro 2, promises to make a splash in the tech world. Stay tuned for the official reveal and prepare to be wowed by Nothing’s latest innovations!
