JioTag Go – A New Era of Affordable Bluetooth Tracking for Android Users

Reliance Jio has introduced the JioTag Go, India’s first Android-compatible Bluetooth tracker that integrates seamlessly with Google’s Find My Device network. Designed to help users keep tabs on their belongings, this innovative gadget uses the pre-installed Find My Device app on Android smartphones.

At just ₹1,499, the JioTag Go is a pocket-friendly choice for those looking to simplify their lives. It’s available in four vibrant colours – black, orange, white, and yellow and can be purchased through Amazon, JioMart, Reliance Digital, or My Jio stores.

JioTag Go – Features That Make Life Easier

From keys and wallets to backpacks and luggage, the JioTag Go ensures you never lose sight of your essentials. Leveraging Bluetooth v5.3 for connectivity, it promises a year-long battery life with its CR2032 battery. If within Bluetooth range, users can activate the Play Sound feature in the Find My Device app, causing the tracker to emit a loud beep for quick identification.

For items outside Bluetooth range, the app taps into the Find My Device network to display the last known location on a map and even provides navigation assistance. Measuring a compact 38.2 x 38.2 x 7.2 mm and weighing only 9g, the JioTag Go is sleek and lightweight. However, it is exclusively compatible with Android devices running Android 9 or later, leaving iPhone users out of the equation.

    Jio’s Growing Tracker Portfolio

The JioTag Go is Reliance Jio’s second venture into Bluetooth trackers, following the launch of the JioTag Air in July. The JioTag Air supports Apple’s Find My network and caters to both iPhone and Android users, showcasing Jio’s effort to bridge the gap across major platforms. At less than half the price of Apple’s AirTag (₹3,490), the JioTag Go is a cost-effective alternative for Android users.
