Kingston FURY has announced the launch of its new PCIe 5.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, the Kingston FURY Renegade G5. This latest offering targets gamers and high-power users seeking maximum system performance.

The Kingston FURY Renegade G5 harnesses the power of a PCIe Gen5 x4 controller and 3D TLC NAND technology, enabling impressive speeds of up to 14,800 MB/s for read operations and 14,000 MB/s for write operations, along with over 2 million IOPS. This SSD is optimized for performance-oriented PCs and workstations, effectively eliminating storage bottlenecks and significantly reducing load times. This makes it suitable for high-intensity gaming, video editing, and data-heavy workflows.

The Kingston FURY Renegade G5 is designed for demanding applications and features a Silicon Motion controller built on 6nm lithography. This advanced technology not only enhances performance but also improves energy efficiency by using a low-power DDR4 DRAM cache, which reduces heat generation and overall power consumption. Whether for high-end applications or content creation, this SSD aims to boost gaming and professional experiences.

“We’re eager to announce this addition to the Kingston FURY family of high-performance solutions,” Kingston stated. “With the power of Kingston FURY Renegade G5 and our other memory products, high-power users and hardware enthusiasts can build their ultimate systems.”

The Kingston FURY Renegade G5 is available in capacities of 1024GB, 2048GB, and 4096GB, all backed by a five-year limited warranty and free technical support.

Recently, we reviewed Samsung 9100 Pro Gen 5 SSD, and Sandisk has launched its own Gen 5 SSD model, highlighting the advancements in storage technology.

Key Features of Kingston FURY Renegade G5:

    • Extreme PCIe Gen5 Speeds: Up to 14,800/14,000 MB/s read/write speeds and over 2,200,000 IOPS.
    • Advanced Thermal Design: Utilizes a 6nm controller and low-power DDR4 DRAM cache for optimal thermal management and power efficiency.
    • Seamless Integration: The M.2 2280 form factor ensures compatibility with most motherboards and backward compatibility with Gen3 and Gen4 systems.
    • Maximized Capacity: Available in 1024GB, 2048GB, and 4096GB for ample storage.
