Meta has officially rolled out its new AI feature, Imagine Me, for users in India. Available on Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger, the tool lets users create personalized AI images of themselves simply by sending text prompts from “Superhero” to “90s Rockstar.”

    What is Meta’s ‘Imagine Me’?

Imagine Me is a generative AI tool that allows users to design imaginative versions of themselves in seconds. Whether you want to see yourself in a Renaissance painting, wearing cyberpunk fashion, or walking on the moon, Meta AI makes it happen all from your uploaded photos and a short prompt.

    How Does ‘Imagine Me’ Work?

To use Imagine Me, users need to start a chat with @Meta AI on WhatsApp, Messenger, or Instagram. First-time users are asked to upload a few setup photos so the AI can learn your facial and body features. Once set up, you can message prompts like:

    • “Imagine me as a comic book hero”
    • “Imagine me as a space explorer”
    • “Imagine me in a fantasy world”

Within moments, Meta AI generates a customized portrait based on your look and the scenario described.

Create Anything From Fantasy to Sci-Fi

Prompts can be fun and imaginative, think “me as a Viking warrior” or “me in a Bollywood movie.” This feature brings a creative twist to your everyday conversations, letting you explore artistic and fantastical versions of yourself.

    Your Privacy, Your Control

Meta has added privacy controls to ensure users feel safe using the feature. You can delete or update your setup photos anytime via Meta AI settings. There’s also the option to opt out completely or retake photos if needed.

A Step Toward More Personalized AI

Imagine Me is part of Meta’s broader vision to bring integrated AI tools into everyday messaging platforms. It’s a creative, expressive way to interact with technology, now right inside your chat apps. Want to try it? Just message @Meta AI on WhatsApp, Instagram, or Messenger and say, “Imagine me as…” and let the AI do the magic.
