Synology has announced a substantial expansion of its cyber-resilient storage and data protection offerings, aiming to bolster data security for enterprises. Synology reported an impressive 80% revenue growth in the enterprise sector, highlighting a strong level of customer adoption and confidence in its solutions.
As part of its 25th-anniversary celebrations, Synology unveiled a new suite of enterprise-grade solutions designed to enhance cyber resilience and assist organizations in managing the challenges associated with rapid data growth. According to an internal data management survey conducted by the company, over one-third of businesses reported incidents of data loss or security breaches, with more than 76% expressing concern about their ability to manage ransomware threats.
“Our aim is to make enterprise-grade protection and collaboration easy to manage and secure,” Yang stated. The newly introduced 2025 portfolio is a testament to Synology’s commitment to helping businesses remain resilient and prepared for the future. The survey findings further revealed that 72% of enterprises prioritize security when implementing data storage solutions, and 64% are investing in enhancing their backup and protection strategies.
Synology’s growth in the enterprise sector has been propelled by the increasing demand for scalable storage solutions, intelligent backup, and compliance-ready collaboration tools. Responses from users indicated that 79.4% appreciated stronger security features, 78.8% found the solutions easier to manage, and 78.5% noted greater reliability with Synology products. Specifically in India, the company has observed a heightened adoption of enterprise solutions, achieving substantial revenue growth across varied sectors, including media and entertainment, manufacturing, finance, government, and public services.
The recently launched PAS7700 is Synology’s first all-NVMe enterprise storage solution, designed to provide ultra-performance through an end-to-end NVMe architecture. It boasts capabilities of reaching up to 2 million IOPS and 30 GB/s throughput, with latency under 1 millisecond. The active-active architecture supports continuous availability, complemented by robust encryption and resilience suitable for mission-critical applications.
Looking to the future, Synology plans to integrate AI-powered features into the Synology Office Suite, such as optical character recognition (OCR), semantic search, summarization, and real-time translation. These innovations will be powered by on-premises AI servers, ensuring that sensitive data remains private while enabling organizations to collaborate in smarter and safer ways.
David Liu, Country Manager for the SAARC region, highlighted the increasing importance of security for IT leaders worldwide. “Our 2025 portfolio reflects Synology’s commitment to offering simple, scalable, and secure solutions that empower businesses to protect their crucial assets and thrive in the digital age.”
