Ai+ has announced Project Trust+, a new long-term security initiative that aims to strengthen the safety of its smartphone ecosystem through community participation. As part of the programme, the company has committed ₹100 crore over the next five years, allocating ₹20 crore annually to encourage ethical hackers, independent security researchers and developers to identify vulnerabilities and help improve the security of its devices.
Unlike traditional bug bounty programmes, Project Trust+ has been designed as an ongoing collaborative effort that invites the wider technology community to actively test Ai+’s software, challenge its security architecture and report potential weaknesses before they affect consumers. The company says the initiative is intended to promote transparency and continuous improvement rather than treating security as a one-time milestone.

Commenting on the launch, Madhav Sheth, CEO of Ai+ Smartphone and Founder of NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, said the company wants to move beyond simply claiming its products are secure. According to Sheth, Project Trust+ reflects the belief that trust should be built collaboratively and that the safest technology is created through continuous engagement with the broader security community.
The initiative also aligns with Ai+’s broader vision around user privacy and transparency, complementing NxtQuantum OS, the company’s sovereign mobile operating system. Through Project Trust+, Ai+ aims to shift the conversation around smartphone security from marketing claims to measurable accountability, with ethical hackers and researchers playing an active role in strengthening the platform over time.
