Apple is reportedly gearing up for one of its most ambitious product years yet. According to reports, the company’s 2026 roadmap includes major upgrades to existing devices and the launch of entirely new product categories. From a foldable iPhone and a redesigned MacBook Pro to a smart home hub and a more affordable MacBook, Apple’s lineup next year could redefine its ecosystem.

Here’s a closer look at what Apple is expected to launch in 2026.

New Studio Display With Mini LED Technology

Apple may finally refresh its external display lineup with a new Studio Display expected to launch in early 2026. The upcoming model is tipped to feature a 27-inch mini LED panel, which would be a significant improvement over the current LED display in terms of brightness, contrast, and HDR performance.

The new Studio Display is also expected to be powered by the A19 Pro chip, replacing the A13 Bionic used in the existing model. This upgrade could improve camera processing, audio performance, and overall system responsiveness, making the display more capable as a standalone accessory for Mac users.

Apple Home Hub: A New Smart Home Control Centre

Apple is reportedly working on a new smart home device, often referred to as the “HomePad.” The device is expected to feature a 7-inch display, built-in speakers, a camera, and an A18 chip. It is likely to serve as a central hub for controlling smart home devices, similar to products like the Google Nest Hub and Amazon Echo Show.

The Home Hub may debut a new operating system called homeOS, designed specifically for smart home interactions. The interface is expected to be widget-focused and visually similar to the iPhone’s StandBy mode. Users may be able to access features such as FaceTime, smart device controls, and home automation routines.

Apple’s next-generation AI-powered Siri is also expected to play a key role, enabling hands-free navigation, intelligent automation, and more natural voice interactions.

MacBook Pro Redesign With OLED Touchscreen

The 2026 MacBook Pro is shaping up to be one of Apple’s biggest Mac upgrades in years. Reports suggest that Apple will introduce an OLED touchscreen display, marking a major shift for the Mac lineup. OLED technology would bring deeper blacks, better colour accuracy, and improved power efficiency.

Alongside the new display, the MacBook Pro is expected to feature a thinner and lighter design and be powered by the next-generation M6 chips. The M6 family is anticipated to be Apple’s first silicon built on a 2nm manufacturing process, delivering notable gains in performance and battery efficiency.

Another major change could be the addition of built-in 5G cellular connectivity, making it the first MacBook to support mobile data without relying on Wi-Fi or tethering.

    Apple’s First Foldable iPhone

Apple is reportedly preparing to enter the foldable smartphone market with the launch of its first foldable iPhone in 2026. Unlike clamshell designs, Apple’s foldable is expected to feature a book-style form factor.

The device is said to include a 7.8-inch inner display and a 5.5-inch outer display, making it more compact than many existing foldables. Apple is reportedly focusing heavily on reducing or eliminating the display crease, a common issue with foldable screens.

The foldable iPhone is expected to feature a titanium frame and may replace Face ID with Touch ID. In terms of dimensions, it could measure around 9 to 9.5mm when folded and approximately 4.5 to 4.8mm when unfolded.

    A More Affordable Entry-Level MacBook

Apple may also introduce a new entry-level MacBook positioned below the MacBook Air. According to reports, this model could feature a 13-inch display and be powered by the A18 Pro chip, making it the first MacBook to use an iPhone-class A-series processor instead of an M-series chip.

This move could allow Apple to significantly reduce costs while still offering solid performance for everyday tasks such as browsing, document editing, and media consumption. The entry-level MacBook is also expected to be available in multiple new colours, appealing to students and first-time Mac buyers.

Apple’s 2026 Lineup Could Be a Turning Point

With foldable devices, OLED touchscreen Macs, a new smart home platform, and more accessible MacBooks, Apple’s 2026 product lineup could represent a major evolution of its ecosystem. While these details are based on early reports and leaks, they suggest that Apple is preparing to push into new form factors while refining its existing hardware.

As always, official confirmation will come closer to launch, but 2026 is shaping up to be a pivotal year for Apple fans and the tech industry alike.
