Just last week Xiaomi globally launched the Redmi Pad 2 in select markets. The Redmi Pad 2 launch in India is set for 18th June. The tablet comes with an 11” display, Helio G-100 Ultra CPU, and a 9,000 mAh battery.

The tablet is being sold at a base price of £169 in the U.K. which is around ₹19,000 which is the current estimated price for when it launches in India. The base model comes equipped with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage.
A slightly higher priced Wi-Fi only model comes with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of storage at a price of £219 which is around ₹25,000.
The cellular models which support 4G start at a base price of £219 which is around ₹25,000 and come with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage.
The cellular model with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of storage is priced at £259 which is around ₹30,000.

Detailed Specs
The Redmi Pad 2 as previously mentioned comes with an 11” display and the Helio G-100 Ultra CPU. It runs on Xiaomi’s own HyperOS 2 which is built around Android 15.
The display has a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz with a typical brightness of 500 nits and outdoor brightness of 600 nits.
The rear camera has 8 MP and can record 1080p videos at 30 fps. The front facing camera has 5 MP and can also record 1080p videos at 30 fps.
The battery is 9,000 mAh with 18W fast charging, and works with USB Type C. The tablet weighs 510 grams which makes it extremely light as compared to most tablets on the market.
The tablet comes with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and as previously mentioned, Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity.
