POCO has announced that the POCO M8 Power is now on sale in India, bringing one of the largest batteries seen in a mainstream smartphone to the market. The device is centred around an 8000mAh silicon-carbon battery, a technology that enables higher energy density without significantly increasing the phone’s size, positioning the M8 Power as a smartphone built for users who prioritise battery life for streaming, gaming and everyday use.
The smartphone features a 6.99-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1800 nits peak brightness, a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio and DCI-P3 colour gamut support. Complementing the large battery is 45W fast charging, with the charger included in the box, while 22.5W wired reverse charging allows the handset to function as a power bank for compatible devices. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, TÜV-certified eye protection and Wet Touch 2.0 for improved usability in damp conditions.

Powering the M8 Power is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor built on a 4nm process, paired with up to 8GB RAM, expandable by an additional 8GB of virtual RAM, and 128GB of storage. The phone runs Xiaomi HyperOS 3 based on Android 16, with POCO promising four years of Android OS updates and six years of security patches. The device is further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and supports 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 and an IR blaster.
For photography, the POCO M8 Power comes equipped with a 50MP Dual AI rear camera featuring creative shooting modes such as Film Filters, Pro Mode, Time-lapse and Panorama. An 8MP front camera adds support for Video Beauty, Fill Light and an integrated teleprompter aimed at content creators and vloggers.
The POCO M8 Power is available in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB variants, priced at ₹21,999 and ₹24,999, respectively, as part of the launch offer. The smartphone is available exclusively through Flipkart, with no-cost EMI options also available for buyers.
