Sony has introduced in India the second-generation lineup of its ULT Power Sound series, adding new wireless party speakers, portable Bluetooth speakers, and a wireless microphone to its portfolio.

The launch includes the ULT TOWER 9, ULT TOWER 9AC, ULT FIELD 5, ULT FIELD 3, and ULTMIC1.

All products feature the ULT button, which boosts bass with one or two selectable sound modes.

The company has also announced Punjabi singer and songwriter Karan Aujla as the brand ambassador for the ULT range, aiming to connect with younger audiences.

ULT TOWER 9 and ULT TOWER 9AC Party Speakers

The ULT TOWER models are designed to create a live-venue experience indoors.

Both offer 360-degree Party Sound and Lighting, selectable bass modes, karaoke and guitar inputs, TV Sound Booster compatibility, and Party Connect for linking up to 100 compatible speakers.

A built-in handle, casters, a water-resistant top panel, and an integrated power bank add to their utility.

The ULT TOWER 9 runs on battery power with up to 25 hours of playback and quick charging, while the ULT TOWER 9AC is a plug-and-play option for continuous use.

ULT FIELD 5 and ULT FIELD 3 Portable Speakers

The ULT FIELD 5 is a rugged, travel-friendly Bluetooth speaker with up to 25 hours of battery life, IP67-rated water, dust, and shock resistance, and a multi-way strap.

It supports a 10 Band custom equaliser, Sound Field Optimisation, Multi-Device Connection, and Party Connect.

Slightly smaller, the ULT FIELD 3 offers similar features, including up to 24 hours of playback, IP67 resistance, and customizable sound settings.

    ULTMIC1 Wireless Microphone

The ULTMIC1 is a wireless mic aimed at karaoke and live performances, with Duet Assist for balancing dual vocals, plug-and-play operation, and up to 20 hours of use.

Quick charging provides two hours of performance from a 10-minute charge.

    Pricing and Availability

The ULT TOWER 9 (Rs 84,990) and ULT TOWER 9AC (Rs 69,990) will be available from 12 August 2025 in black.

The ULT FIELD 5 (Rs 24,990) and ULT FIELD 3 (Rs 17,990) are available now in multiple colours, while the ULTMIC1 (Rs 14,990) is available in black.

As part of a launch offer, buyers of the ULT TOWER 9 or 9AC will receive a Sony wireless mic worth Rs 19,990 for free.

The products are being sold via Sony retail outlets, the ShopatSC.com portal, major electronics stores, and online marketplaces.
