Samsung has announced the launch of its new range of AI-powered QLED and Crystal Clear 4K UHD TVs. Available for purchase on Amazon, Flipkart, and Samsung.com starting May 1, 2025, the new lineup aims to enhance the home entertainment experience.

The QLED series, known as the QEF1, incorporates advanced AI technology, while the Crystal Clear 4K UHD series includes models UE81, UE84, and UE86, designed to deliver exceptional clarity, colour, and detail to viewers.

Central to the QLED launch is the integration of Real and Safe Quantum Dot Technology, which ensures stunning colour accuracy and durability. These TVs feature True Quantum Dots, providing unparalleled colour precision. They are free from Cadmium, a harmful substance associated with cancer risks, promoting both safety and performance.

The lineup is powered by Samsung’s latest Q4 AI Processor, designed to analyze and optimize content in real-time. This results in sharper visuals and clearer sound, offering a more personalized viewing experience. The technology also encompasses Samsung Vision AI, which enhances picture quality by recognizing scenes, objects, and faces, contributing to lifelike detail and accurate colour reproduction through Pantone Validated Colours.

Security is a critical component of the new TVs, including Samsung Knox Security, which protects user data and connected devices. Additionally, customers will have access to Endless Free Content, expanding entertainment options without additional costs.

The new UHD models promise crystal-clear 4K resolution supported by the Crystal 4K Processor, enhancing lower-resolution content to near 4K quality. These models feature PurColour technology and offer vibrant colours for an immersive experience, complemented by integrated OTS Lite technology for dynamic sound with virtual top-channel audio.

Viplesh Dang, Senior Director of Visual Display Business at Samsung India, noted, “At Samsung, we continuously push the boundaries of innovation to deliver products that redefine home entertainment. Our AI-enhanced QLED and Crystal Clear 4K UHD TVs provide advanced entertainment solutions, elevated by intelligent scene recognition for improved picture quality.”

Key features of the QLED TVs include:

    • Real and Safe QLED: Utilizing 100% Color Volume-certified Quantum Dot technology, these TVs deliver vibrant visuals without Cadmium, ensuring a healthier viewing experience.
    • Q4 AI Processor: Enhances visuals and sound in real-time, upscaling content to detailed 4K resolution for an immersive experience.
    • Pantone Validation: Ensures superior colour accuracy by meeting stringent testing standards for authentic colour reproduction.
    • Samsung Vision AI: Provides intelligent enhancements and adaptive features for a personalized viewing experience.
    • Samsung Knox Security: Offers comprehensive protection for user data and connected devices.
