Oakter has introduced its latest product, the 65W True GaN Charger, designed to meet the charging needs of modern devices. Priced at ₹1,399, this charger comes bundled with a 1.5m USB-C cable and is available for purchase on Amazon.
Using Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, the charger offers high efficiency in a compact and lightweight design, enabling fast and reliable charging. Unlike traditional bulky adapters, the Oakter charger is USB-C compatible and features a travel-friendly form factor, making it ideal for everyday use.
One of the notable features of the Oakter charger is its India-specific 3-pin plug, designed to provide a secure and stable connection. This contrasts with many chargers in the Indian market that use two-pin plugs and may not engage properly with safety shutters. The Oakter GaN charger aims to enhance stability and durability, ensuring a safe and firm charging experience. The product also features a specialized capacitor system designed to minimise the risk of shocks or vibrations that can occur with metal-bodied devices.

The output features PD 3.0 with multiple voltage options (5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, and 20V), as well as a PPS output (3.3–21V/3A), providing consistent and efficient charging across various devices. With a maximum wattage of 65W, it effectively supports fast charging, alongside a maximum output current of 3.25A and output voltage of 20V.
