BenQ has officially launched its new Creative Pro PV3250U monitor at Broadcast India 2026, catering specifically to the needs of colourists, video editors, and post-production studio owners. This 31.5-inch 4K UHD display is designed to enhance professional workflows with features focused on accurate colour reproduction and practical image inspection tools.
In professional post-production, consistent color accuracy is essential, particularly in dark scenes where shadow details matter. The PV3250U features BenQ’s AQCOLOR technology to tackle issues like black crush and tonal inconsistencies, helping professionals confidently evaluate subtle details.
With a native contrast ratio of 3000:1 and gamma tuning of 2.4, the monitor improves shadow gradation and reduces black crush in Rec.709 workflows. Factory calibration ensures accurate evaluation across the shadow spectrum, while AQCOLOR Uniformity enhances corner-to-corner consistency in color and brightness.
For advanced colour correction, the monitor incorporates a 16-bit 3D LUT hardware calibration, employing nearly 5,000 RGB reference points for precise calibration. The internal calibration data can be maintained over time with the assistance of BenQ AQCOLOR Pilot software and a compatible external calibrator.
With a colour gamut covering 99% DCI-P3 and 100% Rec.709, along with a Delta E specification of ≤1, the PV3250U is also capable of supporting HDR content with HDR10, HLG formats, and VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification.
BenQ has included several practical tools within the monitor to facilitate content inspection. The Shadow Check function temporarily lifts dark areas, making low-light details visible during inspection, while users can revert to their calibrated mode for final grading decisions. Additional features such as Marker for aspect-ratio and cropping guides, along with Area Zoom for magnified views of selected image regions, allow for thorough evaluations.
The monitor features Thunderbolt 4 support, enabling video data transfer and power delivery of up to 96W through a single-cable connection with 40Gbps link bandwidth. Other accessories include a magnetic shading hood to minimize ambient light and reflections, backlit OSD keys, and the Wireless Hotkey Puck G4 for easy access to display controls. The built-in ESS DAC is designed to support high-impedance headphones up to 300Ω for audio review.
