ZENO has introduced a new AI-powered voice recording device, the Weaver, aimed at professionals who require accurate documentation of meetings, interviews, and discussions without manual note-taking.
The ZENO Weaver combines hardware recording with AI-driven transcription and summarisation. It is designed to capture conversations through a multi-microphone setup with noise cancellation and then convert speech into text across multiple languages.
The system can organise these transcripts into structured outputs such as minutes of meetings, interview notes, blog drafts, and video scripts, with support for over 50 formatting templates.
The device features a slim, credit card-like form factor and supports MagSafe compatibility, allowing it to attach to smartphones for portability. ZENO claims the Weaver can store up to 40 hours of recordings internally and offers up to 40 days of standby time.
On the software side, the accompanying AI Recorder app—available on Android and iOS—enables users to manage transcripts, summaries, and recordings in one place. The platform includes 300 minutes of free transcription per month, along with translation, summarisation, and offline recording capabilities. A subscription-based Pro Plan unlocks unlimited transcription, advanced summary templates, cloud backup, and multi-device access.
The device is powered by ChatGPT 4.0, indicating reliance on large language models for processing and structuring recorded content.
