When you think of Yoga Day, the usual image that comes to mind is a yoga mat laid out in a park, a studio filled with calming music, or a sunrise session overlooking the sea. But this year, we decided to step away from the conventional and experience yoga in a way that was both challenging and refreshing.
Have you ever heard of water yoga, better known as FLAABH Fit?
This Yoga Day, we partnered with GetWetFit to give creators a unique wellness experience at the beautiful Grand Hyatt Mumbai, where yoga met water in the most exciting way possible.

The morning began with creators arriving at the venue, eager to discover what a FLAABH Fit session would actually be like. Naturally, there was plenty of curiosity as questions like, “How do you even do yoga on water?” and “Are we all going to fall in?” floated around before the session began.
Hosted by the GetWetFit team, led by Surbhi Arora, Head of Marketing, the experience was designed to blend mindfulness, movement, balance, and fun in a setting unlike any traditional yoga class. As creators gathered around the pool, they were introduced to the AquaCharge Boards that would serve as their workout platforms for the next hour. While balancing on solid ground can sometimes be challenging enough, balancing on a board in water is a completely different experience.

The session began with gentle warm-ups to help everyone find their footing. What seemed simple on land suddenly demanded greater focus and control, making even basic movements feel surprisingly challenging. Soon, the class progressed into balance-focused exercises, where the real fun began. There were plenty of wobbles, nervous laughs, and near falls, but within minutes, everyone started getting into the rhythm of it. What stood out most was how quickly participants stopped worrying about doing everything perfectly and simply enjoyed the experience. There was a sense of freedom that came from being on the water, away from daily routines and distractions.
Adding to the fun were dance-inspired movements incorporated into the session. Trying to groove to music while standing on an AquaCharge Board proved to be just as entertaining as it sounds. Creators cheered each other on, laughed through the challenges, and embraced the playful side of fitness. It was a reminder that wellness doesn’t always have to be serious.

While the session was energetic and engaging, it also stayed true to the core principles of yoga. Towards the end, participants transitioned into breathing exercises and meditation. Floating gently on the water while focusing on breath and relaxation created a uniquely calming atmosphere. The gentle movement of the pool encouraged everyone to slow down, disconnect from everyday distractions, and simply be present in the moment.
The event wasn’t just about trying something new. It was also a reminder of what Yoga Day truly stands for, taking time to care for both physical and mental well-being. FLAABH Fit offered a fresh perspective on wellness by combining fitness, mindfulness, and fun in a format that felt approachable and exciting.

Once the session wrapped up, creators gathered for refreshments, sharing their favourite moments and laughing about their balancing attempts. The conversations continued long after everyone stepped off their AquaCharge Boards, with many agreeing that it was unlike anything they had tried before. As the event came to a close, one thing was clear: wellness experiences don’t always have to follow the traditional route. Sometimes, all it takes is a board, a pool, and a willingness to try something new. This Yoga Day, we stepped away from the ordinary and discovered a new way to move, balance, and reconnect with ourselves. Safe to say, nobody expected Yoga Day to be spent balancing on water, but by the end of it, nobody wanted it any other way.
