Earlier this month, Google confirmed the release of its screenless fitness tracker, the Google Fitbit Air, in India in October. The tracker was showcased during the Made by Google India briefing alongside the Pixel Watch 5 and Pixel 11 series.
However, photos have now surfaced online showing the band already available at retail stores. An X user shared images of the device, with the tracker reportedly priced at around Rs 16,000. Google is yet to officially announce the Fitbit Air’s India pricing.
In the US, Google launched the Fitbit Air at a starting price of $99.99 (roughly Rs 9,500), while the Special Edition, designed in collaboration with Stephen Curry, is priced at $129.99 (roughly Rs 12,500).
The photos shared online reveal three colour options: black, blue and pink, likely to be called obsidian, lavender and berry. Earlier, the tracker was also listed on Amazon India at significantly higher prices, with the variants priced at Rs 16,170, Rs 16,290 and Rs 17,999, respectively.

The Google Fitbit Air enters the market as a competitor to the Whoop Strap, which requires users to pay for a yearly subscription starting at approximately Rs 21,990 per year. Google’s latest tracker offers similar health and fitness tracking features without a mandatory subscription model, making the reported Rs 16,000 price point a potentially more compelling alternative.
Key features:
The band promises 7 days of battery life, along with a memory that claims to store 7 days of detailed motion data, minute-by-minute, 1 day of workout data, 30 days of daily totals, and heart rate data at 2-second intervals.
