Nester has launched the Home Cook 6.2L Glass Air Fryer in India, bringing together a borosilicate glass cooking bowl, proprietary SteamLock Technology and a cook-serve-store design. Priced at ₹16,999, the appliance is positioned as a premium addition to the growing home-air-fryer segment.
The centrepiece of the Home Cook is Nester’s SteamLock™ Technology, which is designed to retain natural moisture during cooking while keeping food crisp on the outside. The transparent borosilicate glass bowl is intended to give users a direct view of the food as it cooks, removing some of the guesswork associated with enclosed air-fryer baskets.

The bowl is also designed to move beyond the appliance itself. With an acacia wooden lid, it can be used to cook, serve and store food, allowing users to take it directly from the kitchen to the dining table and refrigerator. Side handles are included for handling, while a 30-second auto-clean function uses water sprayed inside the appliance to loosen residue. The product comes with a three-year VIP warranty and PAN India service support.
Nester says the launch reflects its broader focus on design-led home appliances aimed at modern Indian households, particularly young professionals, families and design-conscious consumers. The company, founded in 2024, currently operates across categories including air fryers, coffee machines and cold-press juicers.
The Home Cook 6.2L Glass Air Fryer is available through Nester’s website, Amazon and Flipkart. Interestingly, Nester’s current website lists the product at ₹13,499 against an MRP of ₹16,999, making the launch-period pricing worth keeping an eye on.
