boAt has introduced its new ‘Intelligent Ears’ proposition, bringing AI-powered capabilities to its latest range of earbuds through boAt CREST AI, built with Google Gemini. The company says the new platform is designed to move earbuds beyond traditional audio, enabling them to listen, understand, converse and assist users without requiring a phone or screen.
At the centre of the experience are three features: Crest Ask, G-Assist and Crest Translate. Crest Ask allows users to have natural conversations with AI, ask questions and follow up on responses directly through their earbuds. G-Assist extends this into everyday productivity, with integration across Google Gmail, Tasks and Calendar, allowing users to perform actions such as checking their schedules or replying to emails through voice commands.

Meanwhile, Crest Translate offers real-time, two-way translation across more than 25 languages, aimed at helping people speaking different languages communicate more naturally.
Leading the rollout is the boAt Airdopes Prime 800 D, which combines CREST AI with Dolby Audio and 11mm dynamic drivers tuned to boAt Signature Sound. The earbuds offer up to 45 hours of total playback, Multipoint Connectivity and four microphones with AI-ENx technology.
CREST AI will also be available on the Airdopes Prime 701 ANC and Nirvana Ion ANC, with boAt expected to expand the platform to more products in its portfolio.
The launch marks the next phase of boAt’s collaboration with Google Cloud, as the company looks to integrate AI more deeply into its consumer technology ecosystem. The new devices are available through boAt’s website and leading e-commerce platforms.
