Samsung has announced the availability of its new Galaxy Tab S12 series in India. The lineup includes the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+, both designed for productivity, entertainment, and everyday use. The tablets combine high-end hardware with Galaxy AI features and a slim design, and they come in Grey and Silver.
Display
The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra features a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, while the Tab S12+ has a 12.6-inch panel. Both displays offer peak brightness of up to 1600 nits. For multitasking, both tablets support a three-way split-screen layout through Multi Window. As a result, users can take notes, watch a lecture, and use an AI assistant at the same time.
Performance
The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra measures just 5.1mm in thickness, making it Samsung’s thinnest Galaxy Tab yet. Meanwhile, the Tab S12+ is 5.3mm thick. Both tablets use a 3nm processor, which Samsung says delivers 61% faster NPU processing, 19% faster CPU performance, and 17% better GPU performance than the previous generation.
The tablets also feature a redesigned 3D Vapor Chamber to help manage heat during extended use. Battery life is rated at up to 23 hours on the Ultra and 21 hours on the Plus. Both support 45W charging, with Samsung claiming a full charge from 0% to 100% in 95 minutes.
Both models are also IP68-rated for water and dust resistance. They feature four-channel spatial audio and come with an S Pen for writing and drawing. Users can also pair them with the Pro Keyboard Cover, which includes a dedicated Galaxy AI Key for quick access to AI assistants.
