Royal Enfield and the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) have entered into a two-year partnership aimed at promoting responsible riding, cultural exploration and motorcycle-led tourism across the state. The collaboration, which will run from 2026 to 2028, kicked off with a 10-day motorcycle expedition covering some of Madhya Pradesh’s prominent wildlife and heritage destinations.
The inaugural ride began in Bhopal on October 1 and takes a 20-rider group through Pachmarhi, Pench, Kanha, Bandhavgarh and Panna before returning to Bhopal. The 1,520-kilometre route combines mountain sections, jungle roads and historic hinterland passages, offering riders a way to experience the state beyond its conventional tourist circuits.
Adding a new motorcycle to the expedition is the recently launched Royal Enfield Bullet 650 – Old School Forever, with the entire route being covered on the 650cc motorcycle. Rather than positioning the trip purely as a riding exercise, the partnership is built around Royal Enfield’s idea of ‘Pure Motorcycling’, with an emphasis on connecting riders with local landscapes, food, communities and traditions.

The initiative was formally flagged off in Bhopal by senior officials from the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation and Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, alongside representatives from Royal Enfield and the participating riders.
The first expedition is scheduled to conclude in Bhopal on October 9 with a closing ceremony featuring regional cultural performances, a celebratory meal and recognition for the participating riders. But the partnership is intended to go beyond this first ride.
Over the next two years, Royal Enfield and MPTB plan to develop heritage rides, off-road trail explorations and other experiential motorcycle journeys across the state, potentially opening up lesser-explored parts of Madhya Pradesh to motorcycle travellers.
