Euler Motors launched STORM EV, India’s 1st ADAS equipped 4W LCV

Euler Motors has unveiled two new models of the Storm EV electric cargo vehicles, catering to both intercity and intracity transportation needs. The Storm EV LongRange 200, designed for intercity use, offers a remarkable real range of 200 kilometers, making it well-suited for cargo mobility between nearby cities. On the other hand, the Storm EV Intracity model, with a real range of 140 kilometers, is tailored for intracity usage. Both models boast a 1250 Kg payload capacity and introduce the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) for the first time in the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) segment in India, along with several other segment-first features.

The Storm EV LongRange 200, priced at ₹12.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi), is equipped with CCS fast charging, facilitating a 100 km range in just 15 minutes of charging. It features a 10 ft body length, 330 Cft volumetric capacity, and an 8-leaf rear suspension for smoother transportation of cargo. On the other hand, the Storm EV Intracity model, competitively priced at ₹8.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi), offers the DC001 fast-charging protocol, providing a 100 km range in 30 minutes of charging. It comes in two variants to carry dense or regular loads, with the armoured variant featuring a segment-first 4 mm armoured skateboard chassis and an 8-leaf rear suspension for enhanced safety during cargo transport.

In terms of safety features, both models introduce the Night Vision Assist (NVA) and front and reverse camera collision alert capabilities, enhancing on-road safety for drivers. Additionally, the vehicles are equipped with the Shepherd App, a dedicated mobile/web app to track vehicle location, book the nearest charging station, and receive maintenance alerts. The Storm EV also offers a segment-first digital lock system via a single tap to prevent cargo theft and an anti-theft lock to immobilize the vehicle in case of theft, increasing the chances of quick vehicle retrieval.

Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of Euler Motors, expressed his excitement about entering the 4W LCV segment with EV models that aim to maximize customer earnings while offering capabilities and design that exceed performance, efficiency, and safety benchmarks. With the introduction of these new models, Euler Motors aims to drive EV penetration in the LCV segment and contribute to cleaner air in Indian cities.

The Storm EV models redefine standards in the commercial EV market with advanced technology, robust performance, and design, providing a versatile solution for heavy-load, intra- and inter-city transport while achieving price parity with comparable ICE contenders. Additionally, Euler Motors offers an industry-first extended 7-year / 2.0 Lakhs kms warranty for both models, further enhancing customer confidence in the brand.

Overall, the Storm EV LongRange 200 and Storm EV Intracity models introduce several industry-first features and advanced technology, setting new benchmarks for safety, performance, and efficiency in the commercial EV market.
