Trell App Review: Treading on Growth With Limits

Coordinate geometry may have been a tussle for many. However, if you ask someone to find a midpoint between two points, they will find it. But what is the midpoint of YouTube and Nykaa? The answer is Trell. Well, it is somewhere less than YouTube and more than Nykaa. Why? You have an app where you can make vlogs and buy your cosmetic products. But, why are you reading about Trell? This app has recently raised 45 million USD (somewhere around INR 335.3 Cr/- ). Wow, that’s a whopping figure. Let’s learn about this Trell app, which was hidden somewhere and got more recognition after the funding news through this article.

About Trell App

The very first time if you search about this app, Wikipedia can serve you with vital information related to it. According to Wikipedia, it is an online portal based on lifestyle socialization. If you want to download it, you need to open the Application Store on your smartphone. Now get info related to food, beauty, personal care, movie reviews, etc., through this platform.

Where is it top-notch?

Trell brings the concept of visualization among the people. There are different sections, using which you can find videos – trending, hashtags, and followers. You can select the language in which you want to see a specific video. I have attached the screenshots of selecting language and choosing a different section for a better app tour. Trell lets you watch a wide range of videos related to anything and everything. So, you may find something quite relevant to you and as per your taste. Trell also provides a space from where you can start making tutorials. If you want to become a vlogger, Trell has provided a 4-stage methodology, ranging from Beginner, Advanced, Pro, and Get Certified. However, you must know that you cannot jump to any stage without finishing the previous ones.

It has Lacunae too

Well, here, you may feel some fear. When I thought about downloading this app, I saw the rating as 4. I thought this is what I needed. But, the main complaint is about the delay in delivery if someone is buying any product from the app. In addition to this, there are very limited brands (including Mamaearth, Wow, Lakme, Plum, and Biotique) when it comes to exploring the Trell online store. If you think that there is a section for face, hair, and lips, then halt yourself. Because even here, the products are basically related to these brands. The biggest problem with the app is that you cannot delete your account from the app. What? How to delete a Trell account? Well, for this, you need to write an email to hello@trell.in. And, lastly, you will constantly get notifications that this app is draining out your battery.

Conclusion – Trell App Review

Trell app has no doubt the potential to become a dashing platform that has almost everything. But, considering the years since its inception, it is not easy to digest the fact, they have not empowered and enhanced their store.

Realme GT Master Explorer Edition Tipped, Likely To Launch With Master Edition By July End

Smartphone manufacturer Realme has been exposed to numerous leaks and renders lately. We witnessed how few hands-on leaked images of Realme Pad surfaced on the Internet, which suggested that the device was still in the stage of work in progress. The latest to join the trail of leaks is the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition.

Realme is prepared to stretch its GT series of smartphones with the GT Series Master Edition launch in China. The handset with the model number RMX3366 was revealed on the website of China’s TEENA, hinting towards an imminent launch. A new leak by a Chinese tipster suggests that the company will announce yet another Pro variant of the Realme GT Master Edition.

The claims, if believed, propose that the new smartphone could be Realme GT Master Explorer Edition.

Realme GT Master Edition and GT Master Explorer Launch Time Frame

The reports claim that the company plans to launch the Realme GT Master Edition alongside the GT Master Edition. Going with the leaks, the smartphones are expected to launch by the end of July this year. Reports also suggest that the smartphone company will launch its first laptop at the global GT event.

Realme GT Master Specifications

The handset that was spotted on TEENA had few key specifications revealed last week. As per the details, the GT Master Edition is to feature a 6.43-inch FHD + AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone can also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor supposedly powered by a Snapdragon 778 5G chipset.

The phone can be tipped with 12GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. We can also expect the device to run Android 11 on its system.

Realme GT Master can also sport a triple-camera setup. The rear-facing camera module can house a 64 MP primary main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The device might also feature a 32 MP front camera for selfies and video calling purposes. The handset is also tipped to pack a decent 4500 mAh battery with 65W SuperDart charging.

The smartphone is retail for around EUR 399 (Rs 35,300) for 8GB RAM and 256 GB storage, and EUR 499 (Rs 39,700) for the 12 GB RAM model.

The specifications and other details for the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition have not been revealed at the moment.

Alleged Realme Pad Leaked In Live Images

During the global launch of the GT smartphone, Madhav Seth, India-based CEO of Realme, confirmed that the company would launch its first-gen Pad soon. Few hands-on leaked images have surfaced on the Internet, claiming the device to be Realme Pad.

Here is the picture that was shared online via SlashLeaks:

The Pad, which seems to be still in the work of progress, has a few stickers and labels suggesting internal testing, but the Realme logo is nowhere to be seen! Since the images have been clicked from a distance, it is not the clearest that we could come across.

However, its slim unibody seems to be in Space Gray colour and has the standard-looking camera-hump in one corner, which appears to be similar to the cryptic image shared during the global launch.

The brand’s first tablet product is expected to launch alongside its first-ever laptop, the Realme Book. The Realme Tablet appears to have an aluminium or metal alloy frame with a single camera at the back, placed in an extending module. The Tablet also holds a square design which is somewhat similar to the Apple’s iPad Pro models.

This could mean that the device would be a premium device. It could even come up with Flagship hardware such as the Snapdragon 870 chipset and include a lot of storage. However, Realme has been relatively silent about the specifications and features of the device, so we are left with very scarce information about the same.

That’s pretty much everything we know about the Realme Pad so far, but we can expect more details very soon if more leaks appear.

Recently, the company has launched its Realme C11 2021 in India. The smartphone is the latest addition to the entry-level C series smartphone and comes with a 5000 mAh battery. The device also supports reverse charging, and UNISOC’s SC9863A octa-core processor powers it. It also has a 6.5-inch display with 2GB Ram, 32 GB internal storage and is priced at Rs 6,999 in Cool Blue and Cool Grey colours.

Sundar Pichai Alarms on Curbing Internet Freedom

One fine day, maybe Sundar Pichai would have opened his smartphone and watched “Family Man.” Well, it’s all about a story of MAYBEs or PROBABLYs that may have hit his mind. And, the very first statement that might have hit his mind can be Sharib Hashmi‘s line Privacy is a myth, just like democracy. However, whatever statements Mr Pichai delivered cannot be denied at any cost, especially that too on internet freedom. If you think you live in the vicinity of ultra-conservatives and need a break, here’s a blog from Exhibit. The Exhibit has showcased how privacy is shrinking through its previous blog on Flemish Scrollers. Let’s know more about this news.

Why so much buzz?

Recently, Sundar Pichai gave an interview to BBC editor Amit Ranjan. He showed concerns about internet freedom and how some countries curbed these rights from their citizens, and hardly there is any roar from other liberal places. Mr Pichai has made points related to taxes, privacy, and data. He added that the restricted flow of information gets the grant and leverage from time to time. He somewhere pointed out China, where a communist regime doesn’t allow Google products and services. Read the entire news here.

Is freedom of the internet really shrinking?

Many global institutions come out with indices to check the performance of any country on several indicators. However, there is no index or report that talks about internet freedom. A reputed agency named Reporters Without Borders comes out with the World Press Freedom Index. In addition to this, we have an Inclusive Internet Index, but that takes very different parameters or approaches regarding internet penetration worldwide, including affordability, availability, relevance, and readiness. The problem with these is that some highly respectable Asians believe that they are merely subjective computation of values from the prism of Western liberalists.

Can there be any way to track internet freedom?

Well, don’t tell any new institution to frame a new index that can keep an eye on curbing internet freedom. Then, what to do? Relax, there’s one way out. If you are a coder or a data analyst, the Internet Inclusive Index can provide you with that escape route. How? Look at their framework? A little twist can let you assess internet freedom for sure. But you need to be a bit patient and read the entire report to understand the attributes and sub-indicators attached to these attributes, especially the availability one. Rest, R and Python will be your acumen to extrapolate your expectation. In addition, you can also scrounge Freedom House reports too. Let the world see what you can extract from the same report.

Conclusion

Privacy has become a part of the concern, and if a personality like Google CEO is rising, damn, you need to understand that someone is digging a grave to silence your internet space. Let the hope in you always light the fire to ensure you can use your mobile data easily.

Top 5 Tech-Trends We Witnessed In The First Half Of 2021

The first half of 2021 is gone like a hurricane, and after a year full of rules and regulations, now people are breathing openly and planning to spend another half of the year like the good old days, thanks to all the researchers, doctors and scientists who invented the Covid-19 vaccines. But have you ever thought about how these things became possible in a short period? Yes, it all happened because of advanced technology; otherwise, the world would have lost billions of lives by now.

Technology plays a vital role in our lives; from electric cars to Artificial Intelligence, humans are surrounded by technological inventions. Day-by-day, it is developing rapidly, resulting in a digital revolution taking place all over the world and here’s a list of top tech trends we witnessed in the first half of 2021.

5G Network:

5G belongs to networks that use cutting-edge technology, including augmented reality and virtual reality. The term 5G has been in trending topics for the last couple of years. Though no one directly owns it, several telecommunications operators worldwide are contributing to bringing 5G to life. The top 12 5G companies supervising the research are Samsung, Huawei, Nokia, LG, Ericsson, Qualcomm, ZTE, Orange, Verizon, AT&T, NEC Corporation, and Cisco.

South Korea, China, and the United States are among the first countries who lead the world in building 5G technology. One of the most remarkable achievements of 5G will be its speed which is expected to hit 20 GB/s. In India, the department of telecom (DoT) has allowed telecom operators to start 5G trials in the country, but it’ll take another year to launch it for all. According to some reports, India’s 5G network is slated for commercial launch by August 15 next year on the country’s 75th anniversary of Independence.

Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality:

Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) are two of the exceptional and trending technologies that have emerged in recent days and are expected to integrate into our lives in the coming future. Virtual reality adopts computer modelling and simulation to create a similar or completely different environment from the real world. VR benefits people in looking around the artificial world, moving around in it, and interacting with virtual features or items.

While Augmented Reality is an enhanced version of the real physical world that is more concerned with any technology that ‘augments’ the user’s visual perception of their environment using computer-generated elements. Unlike Virtual Reality, where a computer generates everything a user sees, Augmented Reality keeps the real-world focus.

Internet of Things:

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a promising technology that represents the network of physical objects (things) implanted with sensors, software, and other technologies to collect and exchange data with other devices and systems over a wireless network without human intervention. The Internet of Things (IoT) is concerned with businesses using data and insights to influence and follow customer behaviour and use the Internet of Behaviour (IoB) to benefit their respective channels.

The purpose behind the Internet of Things is to have devices that self-report in real-time and bring important information to the user more quickly than a system depending on human interference. A health-tracking app that collects information about your physical activity routine, diet, sleep, and other habits is one of the examples of the Internet of Behaviour. Along with the health-tracking app, thermostats, cars, lights, refrigerators, and more appliances can all be connected to the IoT.

Blockchain:

What most people state about Blockchain is a false presumption; the technology is not only for Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, it is way beyond that. The year 2020 marks the entry of many applications that use the latest blockchain technology, and 2021 brought it into the trending technologies. Blockchain is a method of storing information to make it difficult or impossible to change, hack, or cheat the system.

The platform is used in various other fields such as healthcare, supply chain, logistics, advertising and more. Blockchain’s amount of protection and transparency benefits the various businesses to build top-level business strategies, and that’s the primary reason most companies are looking for Blockchain platforms, which ultimately helps Blockchain gain an enormous rise in demand.

Quantum Computing:

Quantum computing is the next noteworthy technology trend involved in preventing the spread of the coronavirus and inventing potential vaccines, thanks to its ability to monitor, analyze and act on data, regardless of the source. David Deutsch pioneered quantum computation by forming a description for a quantum Turing machine and specifying an algorithm designed to run on a quantum computer, which is why he is called the Father of Quantum Computing. It harnesses the phenomena of quantum mechanics to achieve a giant leap forward in computation to solve specific enigmas. Quantum Computing also plays a vital role in the banking and finance field, where it manages credit risk for high-frequency trading and fraud detection.

Samsung’s free and linear video streaming service that was previously available exclusively on Samsung’s TV and devices is now widely accessible on the web to just about anyone.

The South Korean tech giant did not make any formal announcements about its web version. However, it might be a little too late to move into the video streaming coliseum, considering its other streaming rivals have already made a giant leap in the market.
