Beats has a new flagship headphone, and you can change how it looks. Beats 360 is the brand’s first over-ear headphone with interchangeable ear and headband cushions. You can swap them to match your outfit, your mood, or your workout. In India, Beats 360 costs ₹42,900. You can order it from apple.com starting today, and it will be available from 24 September. It comes in four core colours: Black, Cloud, Pink, and Sky.
Beats built a new acoustic system for this headphone. Each driver uses a three-layer diaphragm and dual neodymium magnets. As a result, bass hits harder, and detail comes through more clearly across every track.
Beats 360 also gets the company’s strongest Active Noise Cancelling yet. It cancels up to 1.75x more noise than the Beats Studio Pro. Transparency mode lets you hear your surroundings when you need to, and Adaptive EQ adjusts sound in real time based on fit. For spatial audio, a built-in accelerometer and gyroscope in the left ear cup track your head movement, and the headphones also support Dolby Atmos.
Comfort was a priority here. Beats 360 ships with performance knit cushions by default. This material uses memory foam wrapped in a breathable knit fabric, and each strand is built from 36 micro-threads for durability. UltraPlush cushions are sold separately. They use the same engineered leather found in Beats Studio Pro and Beats Solo 4, and they’re built for long, all-day listening.
Beats also redesigned the headband. Since Beats 360 is wireless-first, the brand didn’t need to leave room for cables. Instead, they used that space to improve weight distribution, so the headphones feel lighter. This time around, Beats 360 gets an IPX4 rating, making it sweat- and water-resistant. This is the first time an over-ear Beats headphone has offered this.

The Beats 360 is completely customizable: Additional cushion kits are sold separately, and each kit includes both ear cushions and a headband cushion. Performance knit kits come in six colours: Black, Cloud, Pink, Sky, Navy, and Volt. UltraPlush kits come in two: Black and Cloud.
In India, Beats has priced these kits at ₹6,900 for a limited time.
Beats 360 runs on a custom Beats chip, and it works across both Apple and Android devices. However, Apple users get one-touch pairing, always-on Hey Siri, and automatic device switching. Android users get Fast Pair and Find Hub support instead.
Controls are on the back of each ear cup. It has nine microphones that support noise cancelling and call quality, and a dedicated voice microphone for calls.
Beats 360 lasts up to 32 hours with ANC on, and drops to 24 hours in Transparency mode. A 5-minute USB-C charge gives you an hour of playback.
Beats 360 uses 80% recycled plastic across its ear cups, speaker enclosure, and internal components. That’s the highest amount Beats has used in any product so far. The magnets use 100% recycled rare earth elements, and the packaging is made entirely from plant-based material.
