Beats has launched the Powerbeats Pro 2, touted as its most advanced product yet. Designed specifically for athletes, these earbuds promise powerful, immersive sound, along with innovative features, including Heart Rate Monitoring for workouts. Available for ₹29,900 through apple.com/in, the Powerbeats Pro 2 comes in four vibrant colours: Jet Black, Quick Sand, Hyper Purple, and Electric Orange.
According to Oliver Schusser, Apple’s Vice President of Music, Sports, and Beats, “Powerbeats Pro 2 is the most impressive product in Beats’ history – developed to withstand intense training sessions and equipped with our most innovative technology and powerful sound.” With features such as Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Transparency mode, these earbuds are designed to set a new standard in audio for fitness enthusiasts.
The Powerbeats Pro 2 boasts a redesigned acoustic architecture that provides dynamic head tracking and Personalized Spatial Audio. This comes with clear highs, rich mid-range tones, and deep bass. Additionally, the earbuds use Apple’s leading Active Noise Cancelling technology and include Adaptive EQ to tailor sound based on how they fit in the user’s ear.
Tested by nearly 1,000 athletes, the earhook has been reinforced for flexibility and grip, making the Powerbeats Pro 2 20% lighter than its predecessor. Rated at IPX4, these earbuds are sweat and water-resistant, making them a reliable companion in any weather condition.

One of the standout features of the Powerbeats Pro 2 is the Heart Rate Monitoring capability. Utilizing LED optical sensors, these earbuds can measure blood flow over 100 times per second, providing athletes with real-time performance data. At launch, this feature will be compatible with a range of fitness apps, including Runna, Nike Run Club, and Slopes.
Powerbeats Pro 2 will also allow users to take calls, FaceTime with Spatial Audio, and activate Siri effortlessly. The earbuds are perfectly integrated with Apple devices for one-touch pairing, automatic switching, and hands-free Siri. For Android users, the Beats App enables customizable controls and battery status monitoring.
Each earbud features tactile volume rockers and advanced microphones that enhance call clarity by isolating the user’s voice while minimizing background noise.
The Powerbeats Pro 2, powered by Apple’s H2 chip, delivers a total of up to 45 hours of battery life when used with the charging case. Each earbud provides up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge. Thanks to Fast Fuel technology, just five minutes of charging can give you up to 90 minutes of listening time.
