BenQ has officially launched the BenQ Board Pro RP05 in India, aiming to enhance the nation’s ambitions for AI-enabled classrooms. This interactive display is offered in three sizes: 65″, 75″, and 86″.
The RP05 features a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of 10 trillion operations per second (TOPS), making it the most powerful NPU in any large-format interactive display available in India. It boasts an ETHZ AI score of approximately 430, the highest in its category. The display’s NPU enables generative AI to function without an active internet connection, allowing educators to plan lessons efficiently without relying on cloud services that can lead to delays. The RP05 runs on the advanced MediaTek Genio 720 chipset, featuring 16GB DDR5X RAM and 256GB of storage, with all updates delivered over the air.
BenQ’s AI features are tailored specifically for the Indian classroom environment. Among its key capabilities is the AI Lesson, which generates lesson plans and teaching outlines instantly. Another feature, AI Quiz, automatically generates quizzes and practice questions. The Ask AI function provides a conversational interface that lets students and teachers ask questions directly on the screen and receive immediate responses without leaving their current application. The board’s integrated Camera Gesture technology lets educators navigate slides and content with hand gestures. At the same time, Lasso Search enables teachers to draw circles around specific images or words to retrieve relevant information.
The BenQ Board Pro RP05 also integrates EZWrite 6.0, BenQ’s whiteboard platform that adds further AI functionality. EZMath can convert handwritten equations and diagrams into digital formats and perform calculations. The display supports one-tap translation for 59 languages and includes an AI Text-to-Speech feature that converts on-screen text into natural-sounding speech. Wireless screen sharing via InstaShare 2 includes the AI Guardian function, which scans images and videos from student devices in real time and blocks inappropriate content before it is displayed. Importantly, BenQ AI does not store or collect personal data unless a feature is actively being used.
Rajeev Singh, Managing Director of BenQ India and South Asia, stated, “Indian classrooms have waited long enough for an interactive board that enhances teachers’ multi-tasking abilities. The RP05 ensures there are no slowdowns, allowing teachers to concentrate on the primary task of teaching. We’re excited to bring our advanced technology to Indian classrooms, benefiting educators and students alike.”
In terms of hardware, the RP05 is equipped with a 70W audio system comprising two 25W speakers and a 20W subwoofer, along with an eight-microphone array. It supports 50 simultaneous touch points on both Android and Windows platforms and offers various connectivity options, including USB-C 3.0 with 100W Power Delivery and HDMI 2.0 inputs and outputs.

The RP05 also highlights health and safety, featuring BenQ’s ClassroomCare suite. The display is certified for blue light management (Eyesafe 3.0) and boasts RPF 60 and CPF 50 panel filter ratings. Additionally, the display surface and accessories are TUV and SIAA certified and are effective against 99.9% of common germs. An integrated air quality sensor monitors CO2, PM2.5, and TVOC levels in real time.
For security, the RP05 adheres to Google’s EDLA certification, ensuring Google Play Protect® is active on all devices and that installed applications are scanned for malware in real time. Android 15 allows for detailed control over camera, microphone, and file access at the device level. BenQ’s Device Management System provides remote control, firmware updates, and usage analytics from a centralized dashboard. At the same time, the Account Management System enables teachers to log in via QR code and easily restore personal settings on any board.
The BenQ Board RP05 will be available across India from June 25, 2026, through authorized channel partners, with prices starting at ₹2,00,000/-
